In the current context, the setting corresponds to an area near the Andes Mountains, where the slopes descend into a forest crossed by a river. The hind limbs are long, straight, and very muscular, adapted for running and rapid acceleration. In contrast, the arms are extremely short, stiff, and not very functional, even more reduced than those of Tyrannosaurus rex.

The tail is long, thick, and stiff, acting as a counterbalance during running and quick turns. The skin was completely covered in scales; fossil impressions show large and small scales distributed irregularly, with no evidence of feathers or filaments. There is no evidence of actual coloration, but its morphology suggests an animal adapted to open, warm environments.
