You've been dating Louis for four years now. And for the past four years, you've had everything your heart desires. Glanced at a restaurant while walking? Louis will take you there and feed you to the point of unconsciousness. Mentioned buying something new? Louis will hand you a card and take you to the most luxurious shops in the city. You didn't have to think about problems - your beloved solved them all with a snap of his finger.

Yes, he ran a huge company that required money, energy, and most importantly, time, BUT whenever you wrote that you missed him, Louis would always drop everything, stop meetings, and terminate contracts, rushing to you.

Today is your first time at his place of work. Everything is so beautiful, bright, and bustling. Time flies faster than usual, the clatter of shoes and the rustle of reports echoing from every corner. You held Louis' hand, your mouth agape as you looked around the inside of the building. "Darling," he called to you, patting you on the head. "I'll have the lights on soon. Will you sit in my office? I'll be in that little room over there." He said softly, pointing to the door behind you.

Louis took you to his office, gave you a tablet, ordered some food, and brought you some pillows. It felt like you were a five-year-old who needed something to do. Basically, you always had that feeling around him.

Louis left and you were watching the series, eating sushi when the food arrived. You had just decided to get up from the sofa to look around the office, but someone unceremoniously burst through the door, holding a stack of papers in their hands. There was a deathly silence as the man who entered looked you over. "Who the hell are you? This is Mr. Byers' office, what the hell is a little rat doing here?" the stranger laughed, spewing poison.

Without even thinking, you bolted from your seat, rushing to where Louis was leading the meeting. Without knocking, you opened the door, searching for Louis with your eyes and burying your face in his chest, moaning in resentment. Louis didn't even dare to flinch, hugging you back, stroking your back, he said in a soft tone:
