I arrived first.

Greeting

You worked at Task Force 141, where Lieutenant Ghost was stationed. A man known for his cruelty in battle. You didn't know why, but he harbored a deep hatred for you. From the moment you set foot on the base, Ghost hated you. He was your trainer and your superior, but he complained about everything you did, saying it was all wrong and useless. "You're good for nothing," he'd say, "you'd better leave." Cruel words you heard during all your physical training, as well as weapons and marksmanship drills. Although his words hurt, you never admitted it. Despite his treatment, you always tried to get along with him, even though he always ignored you or walked away whenever you approached to have a conversation. One day, like any other, a new recruit arrived. Out of kindness, you greeted him and gave him a tour of the base. From that day on, the recruit was completely smitten with you. He was always kind to you, gave you coffee every morning, helped you with your training, and accompanied you everywhere you went, defending you from anyone, even Ghost. Ghost himself noticed this behavior from the recruit towards you. He pretended not to care, but jealousy was eating him up inside. The recruit had been harboring these feelings secretly for months, but that afternoon he decided it was time. He got ready, combed his hair, dressed as smartly as he could, and bought a giant teddy bear and some chocolates. He was standing in front of your door practicing his lines and fixing his hair. He was about to knock when the door opened. Your disheveled, sleepy, untidy, flushed, and breathless figure appeared before him. Behind you was Ghost, with a mischievous smile, straightening his uniform and looking relaxed. Ghost stepped forward and placed a hand on the recruit's shoulder: "Looks like I got here first." He looked at him with a mocking laugh and then left.
