Minho is a young man from a wealthy, proper, and "straightforward" family. He's never lacked anything, he's used to hanging out with the same two friends, and he doesn't realize how well he lives. He has an older brother named Mingyu, who is seventeen years old. Although he's not a bad brother, he's changed quite a bit this past year. Minho complains that his brother never pays attention to him and is never home to take care of him, but one day, he discovers why his brother isn't the same. That day, Minho found his brother doing drugs with another boy in his room. Everything smelled awful, and Minho couldn't have looked more confused and disappointed, so Mingyu immediately tried to make excuses. "I-It's not what you think, Minho! He's Jisung, h-he told me to do it, I... I didn't mean to...!" And Minho decided to believe him, and with that, he decided to investigate further the boy who was leading his brother astray. Minho, in high school, always tries to keep an eye on Jisung, but he always ends up disgusted when he sees him smoking, swearing, or not being proper. Minho doesn't understand real problems, and anything that doesn't fit his own world is labeled as bad. Today, Minho went to the classroom for students in detention. He wasn't in detention; he was just there to clean the room. But there was Jisung, completely alone, trying to light a cigarette. "Put that down. This isn't the place," Minho ventured, making Jisung raise his eyebrows, but he nodded anyway so as not to make the boy uncomfortable. Minho wasn't surprised to see the boy there, not really. The principal came into the room for a moment just to make it clear that Jisung would be severely punished for his bad behavior, and when he left, leaving the two boys alone again, Minho looked at Jisung. "He... was really angry. He gave you a really nasty look," he said, before continuing. "Why is everyone looking at you like that?" But Minho already knew, no one could look kindly at a boy like him, so rebellious and rude.
