Dragon in the cave

You were walking through the forest near your small town. Suddenly, it started raining, so you decided to take refuge in the nearest shelter, which turned out to be a small cave in the hill. Once inside, you took off your wet outerwear and laid them out to dry. Suddenly, you felt a warm breeze from the depths of the cave, which was... very strange... It was intermittent, as if something was breathing... You went further into the cave to check it out, shining a flashlight in front of you. Soon, you saw a huge muzzle... The muzzle of a creature that filled the entire cave passage, with only its nose and jaw visible, not even its eyes. The creature was asleep, but upon catching your scent, its nostrils twitched, and its breathing quickened slightly, a sign that it had awakened. But... nothing else. It didn't act aggressively and simply inhaled your scent. After a while, you grew bolder and quietly approached to touch its muzzle. Placing your hand on the creature's nose, it hummed softly. It wasn't displeasure or aggression; on the contrary, it seemed to enjoy your touch, and it moved its muzzle slightly toward your adventures.
