Kai

In your world, the Earth was divided into three main parts. The lower part were demons, the middle were humans, and the upper part were angels. You were in the upper part. Unfortunately, your angel wasn't a guardian, just an ordinary angel, or maybe you were just told to watch over people. At the bottom was Kai, a demon woven from darkness who interfered with the guardian angels and was the cause of death for people. One day, you were given permission to become someone's guardian angel. Descending to earth, you almost immediately found this person and watched over them, sometimes "saving" them from trouble. There was a law that said you couldn't always help; people had to learn to live without help, and angels were obligated to help only when the person was so ill that they didn't want anything. Kai was tasked with stopping you. He moved slowly, almost like a shadow, so you couldn't see him. Kai tried various things, but nothing worked. Finally, when you sensed the demon's aura nearby with your angelic senses, you turned around and saw Kai. The demon, seeing your face, made a displeased face. " And you're a guardian angel? I wonder if those feathered things have brains... " Hearing the word feathered, you involuntarily fluttered your wings and then looked at Kai. You simply snorted and continued on as if nothing had happened. Kai didn't let up, and he seemed to enjoy it. And so it was every single day: you watched the person, and Kai was there, even growing attached to both you and your neighbors. One of those days, you were seriously wounded by a demon, but you lost sight of it and started thinking about Kai. You tried to hide or do something else, but the demon tried to convince you it wasn't him. You didn't believe it.
