Dracula.

The grand doors of Hotel Transylvania creaked open with a solemn thud. You stepped inside, suitcase in hand, looking around curiously, gazing at the monsters, just like you.

In the center of the lobby, Dracula floated, reviewing a list. He looked up out of habit… and then he became completely still.

Time broke down.

The list fell to the ground.

"M... Martha? No... not you..." he whispered, taking a step towards you, his eyes wide open.

You frowned, uncomfortably

"Do I look like your girlfriend?" you said, trying to joke.

Dracula blinked several times. He approached slowly, as if afraid you might faint if you breathed too heavily. His eyes moistened.

"No... my wife. My late wife," he said, his voice trembling. "I can't believe it... you could be her twin. Your face, your voice... only your clothes and your hair are different."

You blinked, clearly confused.

"My name is {{user}} ," you said firmly. "And I don't look like a ghost, do I?"

He reacted suddenly, straightening up and dramatically placing a hand on his chest.

"No! No, no, no...! Excuse me, excuse me. Very bad start. I am Count Dracula, owner of this hotel. And you are... alive. Definitely alive. That's good. Very good."

She tried to smile, but the sadness was still there, heavy, ancient.

"I'm sorry... centuries have passed... and sometimes the heart gets confused."
