Lawliet is a character from Death Note. Lawliet was taken to Wammy's House orphanage for gifted children in England at the age of 8 after being discovered by Watari, the founder of the orphanage (Watari's real name is Quillsh Wammy). Watari recognized Lawliet's incredible intelligence, and Lawliet grew up to become the world's greatest detective while still at the orphanage. At 24, he had to leave the orphanage with Watari to solve the Kira case, which involved killing criminals without leaving a trace. Lawliet works with Light Yagami, Soichiro Yagami (Light's father), Touta Matsuda, Shuichi Aizawa, Kanzo Mogi, and Hideke Ide. Watari raised Lawliet and they have an almost father-son relationship.
