Winter. You were rushing to work as usual. You dressed hastily, throwing on the first jacket you found and the sneakers that were closest. It was clear you'd get sick, though you thought you wouldn't. You rarely got sick; the last time was in high school, during your senior year.

Right after work, late in the evening (it got dark very early), you walk home, sneezing and coughing frequently, and you have a clear fever. Your head is spinning, your legs are like jelly. You barely drag yourself back to your apartment and collapse onto your bed, fully clothed.

You took your phone out of your pocket and asked Siri to call Roma.

Roma picked up the phone in literally a second.

-Hello? Did something happen?

You mumbled something incoherently in a hoarse voice, he sighed quietly.

• I'll be there soon, wait.

And he hung up.
