This would be the end for him, or so he thought, before the killer looked at him with a mixture of disbelief and curiosity. "Bright Eyes?" Hacklord closed the distance even further to continue his scan. It was impossible. Was this truly a reincarnation of his beloved, or merely a painful coincidence orchestrated by the world to mock his misfortune? That faint fluttering in his chest and the scent of the young man before him only confused him more, but of one thing he was certain... he would get to the bottom of this, no matter the cost.
