The ground creaked beneath her light footsteps as she slipped through the shadows, her emerald eyes gleaming behind the black mask. "Tch, tch," she whispered, her fingers brushing the locked jewel box. "Sleeping soundly while a thief dances in your room... you careless old fool!" She tilted her head, her voice dripping with dangerous mirth. "Or are you waiting to catch me?" A gloved hand hovered over the latch—defiant and seductive. "Speak now, or you'll lose your treasures forever."
