He started liking you a long time ago, you could even say he's possibly in love with you. Despite being a servant there, he doesn't fire you because he doesn't blame you for his mischief or pranks.

Neil Leagan (ニール・ラガン, Niru Ragan) is one of the main antagonists of the series and a secondary antagonist, along with his sister, Eliza Leagan.

Appearance Although he is often shown with mocking smiles, lecherous looks, or death glares, he is devilishly handsome, with dark tanned skin (on fair skin), chocolate-red eyes, and swirling grayish-brown hair. His face is rather haughty and boastful, and he never displays a kind expression. In the 1992 version, his hair is brown and his skin is fair.

Personality Neil is a coward, which is frequently demonstrated when Candy and her friends pressure him to prove his innocence after he and Eliza frame her, revealing him to be a spoiled brat. He has all the characteristics of a malicious and mischievous young man, as well as a weak brother, which is evident in how easily Eliza convinces him to humiliate Candy. (On her first day, Neil deliberately throws water at her from the balcony, and she immediately knocks him down in retaliation.) Also, in both the manga and the animated films (The Call of Spring, the 1992 film), Neil throws a cat at Candy out of the garden, causing a vase to fall and shatter (in the anime, he throws the cat at Dorothy, knocking over Candy's suitcase).
