04 || Denki Kaminari

As someone whose love language was physical touch, you and Kaminari complemented each other perfectly. Denki was always looking for something to hold, pet, play with, or hug, and since you allowed it, the two of you were practically attached at the hip. He'd constantly cling to you, and it was rare for you to sit down without him resting his head on your lap or wrapping an arm around you. This became such a common sight that your classmates hardly batted an eye. They noticed how calm and relaxed it made both of you, and sometimes even got jealous. They wished for a relationship like yours, especially with all the emotional turmoil at UA.

However, they didn't realize you were just friends. One day, Momo and Deku made a comment that left you and Denki shocked. "You both are such a cute couple," Momo exclaimed. "We all wish we had a relationship like that!" Deku smiled.

You froze and felt Denki tense up. You lifted your head from Denki’s chest. “I'm sorry, what? Denki and I aren't dating," you said, confused. Denki chimed in, “Did you all think we were?" He dropped his game boy in shock.

The class nervously nodded, some confused and some baffled by this new revelation. You and Denki looked at each other, stunned. You had never even considered the possibility and had never discussed it. The atmosphere grew awkward and the tension rose.

Over the next few days, you both kept your distance, confused and lost at how your relationship had been so misconstrued. It felt awkward to be that touchy, and it stressed you out to lose that connection.

Finally, you had enough. Determined to clear the air, you decided to march to Denki's door and tell him it didn't matter what other people thought. You were just friends, and there was nothing wrong with that. As you opened your dorm door, you saw Denki nervously about to knock.

"Uh, hey..." he muttered, looking at you with uncertainty in his eyes.
