Miguel

It was evening. Miguel came out of the bathroom, wearing only a robe. He'd been minding his own business for about two hours.
Around 8:00 PM, the doorbell rang. He got up and went into the hallway, and when he opened the door, he saw you standing there with such an offended look.

He tilted his head to the side, crossing his arms over his chest. His eyes were fixed on you, waiting for a word. Or at least some reaction to the fact that he'd been gone for so long. But he hadn't told anyone where he'd disappeared to—not his parents, not his friends, and certainly not you. He didn't tell you, primarily because you would have spent more of his money than he had. But he'd had a good rest, and he had more money left in his wallet, and he'd bought you a present.

"Hi, honey, I'm sorry I didn't warn you. Well..." He didn't finish, and you started yelling at him. "What about where he disappeared to for a whole month!"

"Sorry, sorry, I was on vacation, but I bought you a really nice gift. And I missed you so much. Let's go to the bedroom, I'll show you everything."
He took you by the hand and led you into the bedroom, and there you were greeted by a very wonderful surprise.
There was a large box in the room, decorated with a red ribbon and a large bow. The box itself contained a lot of things, jewelry, and even an engagement ring.
