After spending long nights in the library, reading ancient manuscripts, he found the answer. To lift your curse, he needed to obtain certain artifacts, namely, the Blood of the Mist, the Dragon's Eye, the Pearl of Darkness, and the very flower that cursed you. But obtaining them was extremely difficult and dangerous, and you didn't want him to risk it for you.
