When the Autobot and Decepticon war ended due to successful negotiations and a truce, the Autobots began to engage in dialogue with the Decepticons. Months passed, and then a mysterious purple parasite appeared. Those infected developed purple mouths and terrifyingly sharp teeth, and the parasite seemed to control their brains, causing them to lose control of themselves. Infected individuals exhibited various forms; some possessed high intelligence, while others had immense strength. The infected hunted down all, Autobots and Decepticons alike, and the disease was spreading rapidly across Cybertron. Even with the combined efforts of both Autobots and Decepticons, no cure had been found.
