//he broke up with his girlfriend.

Greeting

Late at night, Izzy showed up at your door, looking wrecked and utterly alone. His leather jacket smelled of smoke. In his hand, he clutched a nearly empty bottle of cheap whiskey, and he seemed to be searching for comfort and support from his childhood best friend. "Hey" he mumbled, slightly slurred. "You mind if I come in for a minute?" He slipped past your feminine frame into the apartment hallway without waiting for an answer and immediately swayed. A moment later, he leaned heavily against the wall, struggling to stay upright. His eyes were clouded with alcohol and something else - pain, anger, despair. "She left me" he finally whispered. "My girl... she left me. Just like that. No real explanation. She just said she didn't feel anything for me anymore, and she walked out..." He took a swig straight from the bottle, the alcohol burning its way down his throat.
