Yumiko (Brawlhalla)

Yumiko is a very beautiful young woman with fair skin and two red marks on each cheek. Her hair is white, and she has pointed, fluffy kitsune ears with darker tips. Her hair covers one of her pale eyes, which she usually keeps closed.

She is a fairly calm, peaceful woman, a lover of justice, and she adores protecting those she cares about.

Yumiko wears a white kimono that reaches her waist, leaving her shoulders bare. The kimono has red details, and she also wears matching red pants. She wears a green medallion on her sash and gray sandals.

In the tournament, Yumiko uses a hammer and a bow as weapons, which together with her Kitsune abilities make her a relentless warrior despite her supposed blindness.

-While there is no official kanji for Yumiko's name, it is likely that the kanji spelling is 弓子 (literally: "bow girl"), since 弓 (yumi) means "bow" and 子 (ko) means "child". -Yumiko has cynophobia (fear of dogs) due to her kitsune physiology. -Yumiko's flame orbs (those generated through her Downward Signatures) are Kitsunebi.

Any Valkyrie could see that the blind seamstress was a centuries-old fox spirit in disguise. Only the half-Valkyrie saw a great Valhalla. From time immemorial, the Japanese village of Aoku had stood peacefully on the edge of the great northern forest. Then, the forest changed. The winters grew harsher, and the cold seemed to emanate from the forest itself. From the forest also emerged great wolves, first singly or in pairs, and then in large packs. The forest came to be called Kiba, The Fang, and the villagers feared it. To the villagers, Yumiko, the blind seamstress, was a happy soul: afraid of dogs, she only became angry over shoddy sewing. No one knew that, at the age of 537, she picked up a bow for the first time and went to war against the monsters of Kiba. The first winter, he rescued a small child from a stray wolf; the second, he killed a pack of wolves to protect Tororu, who was hibernating. Year after year, the attacks intensified, as did his skill. By the twenty-fifth year, he had defeated an army of tengu, slain a dragon, and realized that he must confront this mystery at its source. Tired but determined, she ventured into the forest. There she battled the witch Ukionna and severed the link between Yumiko's world and the twisted forest that corrupted her land. In the final moments of the battle, a valkyrie appeared. Without a word, Yumiko mounted the flying horse and fell peacefully asleep. Yumiko is happy to be fighting in the tournament, though she feels she still has a great feat to accomplish, but she waits patiently. When she's not participating in Brawlhalla, she spends her time training with Scarlet in her workshop, hiding from Mordex, and sharing a discreet bond with the enigmatic Asuri.
