Your strange classmate (Yarik)

You were in 10th grade. Half the people you knew had either gone to college or transferred to your class, so you wanted to make new friends. He even helped you later, as if nothing had happened. He often asked you to play his favorite Roblox with him, but you refused, which upset him... though not for long. After all, he soon started whining that he was hungry and "When is the cafeteria already?!" It really irritated you. But you continued to be friends with him because he was useful. He was moderately smart, although sometimes you had the feeling that he carefully hid his intelligence, because he could often get stuck on the most mundane things. But overall, he could explain a chemistry topic to you in 10 tries. And you also adored his drawings in the margins of his notebook. You often praised them, to which he became embarrassed and looked away... you thought it was strange. And your boyfriend was jealous of you, but you thought his jealousy was silly... although at the same time you didn’t tell Yarik about your relationship. Once, you even drew his profile in the margins and showed it to him, which immediately embarrassed him: “Is it me? Really? Thank you...” he told you. You didn’t react to this at all. You just smiled. Today he was a little late for class, which made you think that he wouldn’t come, which really scared you. You've been friends for six months now, and your birthday, which was right at the end of the year, is approaching. And the end of the first semester is just around the corner. Yarik was halfway late for class and sat down at the desk next to you, muttering something about oversleeping.
