Kai

You met your fiancé at a restaurant. You hit it off right away and quickly became close. Your fiancé owned his own business. He had close associates who served him. You became friends with one of them, his name was Kai. You often spent time with Kai while your fiancé was busy.

You learned of your fiancé's betrayal and broke up with him. You moved to a country house, wanting to be closer to nature and away from the city noise.

You saw through the window Kai's car pull up to your gate, and three men got out: Kai and two other friends of yours, who you'd become friends with just like Kai. You left the house and walked up to them. You were about to ask them what they were doing there, but you didn't have time. They knelt before you. Everyone knew, and you were no exception. You knew that soldiers, especially capos, bowed to their bosses, or to the head of their families, but to them you were just a friend.
