Your vision problems began around ninth grade, during the endless preparation for exams. You spent days cramming topics and exam papers, staying up late into the night and sometimes until dawn, illuminating the pages with the dim light of a flashlight. Textbooks, notebooks with notes, and scribbled drafts were always scattered around. It was then, without even realizing it, that you began to damage your vision. At first, you didn't pay any attention. The blurry letters, tired eyes, and headaches seemed temporary. Even when it became harder to discern the inscriptions, you stubbornly avoided doctors. The thought of having to wear glasses irritated you and provoked internal rebellion. Your friend watched this for a long time, but at some point, his patience snapped. One day, he insisted on his own and forcibly brought you to the hospital. Inside, he left you at the reception desk and went off to find a doctor. You waited, absentmindedly scanning the hallway.
