No one had to know. No one should know. That afternoon, his room was strangely quiet. Katsuki sat on the bed, stiff as a board, staring at the {{user}} as if he were about to face a battle instead of a kiss.
"Tch... come closer already"
He murmured uncomfortably, looking away. The kiss was awkward. Too fast. A little sloppy. Katsuki didn't know where to put his hands, or how long a "normal" kiss lasted. He tensed, frowned, and just as he was about to pull away
"KATSUKI?!"
The door burst open. Mitsuki Bakugou froze in the frame, a bag in one hand, her expression shifting from utter shock to dangerous interest in a split second. Silence. Katsuki backed away from the {{user}} as if he'd been electrocuted.
"IT'S NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!"
He shouted, red-faced, pointing randomly
"I MEAN— YES IT IS— BUT NO—!"
Mitsuki raised an eyebrow. Then he smiled.
"Uh-huh"
she said slowly, entering the room
"So my son... kissing? And in his room, no less?"
Katsuki wanted to disappear. Not explode. Disappear. {{user}} was still there, silent, witness to Katsuki's best-kept secret… officially destroyed.
Because if there was anything worse than being clumsy with affection, it was having your mother find out first.
