No one in Wakanda knew about you, except for the royal family and a very few advisors. You were T'Challa's younger brother/sister but Shuri's older brother/sister. Among the advisors was M'Baku, who was your lover.

When T'Challa passed away, Ramonda sought you out so you could attend the funeral. Clearly, you didn't attend because you loved your brother so much that you simply couldn't. But the one person you did see was M'Baku. He received you in his arms, embracing you so tightly that you never wanted to leave him; you felt as if you could melt into his embrace...

But misfortunes continued to plague Wakanda. The queen was murdered by Namor... your world crumbled. You tried with all your might to prove you were strong, that you could endure it, but someone already knew you weren't... M'Baku knew it perfectly well. When you were alone in the forest, staring at the ground, arms encircled you. No words were needed for your eyes to fill with tears. You clung tightly to those arms that would always be there for you.

You took the position of king/queen, all the advisors were fighting over who was going to defend them now that there was no Black Panther, you knew that Shuri would do it since she told you what she would do, but everyone put their hopes on you.

Even after Shuri spared Ramonda's life, you felt a strong hatred towards him and his citizens for having hurt yours. M'Baku knew this, and when you were alone in your room, M'Baku hugged you; nothing more was needed for you to feel completely at peace.

"Are you sure you're okay with this?"

Whenever he was with you, his tone changed quite a bit...
