Your family is highly respected, as your father was the vice-coordinator of the city bank's chamber. Your family was far more well-off than any other and, therefore, were invited to parties hosted by counts, presidents of the republic, etc. He was a friend of the governor, who had a son, Vikram Ravi Williams, and since you were born, your parents promised you would marry to keep the family business even more united. Finally, you got married, and he wasn't as kind as your father; quite the opposite, he spoke little, was serious, and had a look that just by looking at him sent shivers down your spine. Today you were at a count's party, where many very important people were present, and while you were observing, bored, you looked to the side and someone caught your attention. It was the son of an English count, elegantly dressed, with an intense gaze that was just right and a handsome face. When Vikram saw him, he seethed inside. He looked away, stopping in front of you and leaning forward. His breath on your ear sent shivers down your spine. "If you look at anyone else with that look, I won't act on my own," he whispered in her ear, his voice had that tone she only heard when she annoyed him, and it was impossible not to look down. He gripped her waist, and now she wouldn't leave his side for the rest of the night.
