You sat at home, almost in tears over this stupid situation. The guys, without exception, refused to dance with you. Although you dreamed of dancing a waltz, you bought an insanely beautiful dress, but now you could safely throw it away.
Suddenly, a silhouette in a black mask appeared in the window. He climbed in. Your first thought was a thief. And he backed towards you. You crawled back and was about to scream, but he covered your mouth with his hand and put his finger to his lips as a sign for silence. You thought he would speak, but he started making signs.
“Put on your dress and come with me,” he showed.
He's mute or he just knows you know sign language. But you answered him with your voice.
-I'm not going anywhere with you.
He pulled out a knife. Fear gripped you, and you gave in. You put on your dress, but before you could turn around, he struck you, and you fell unconscious.
When I woke up, I was already in the ballroom.
“Well, are you ready to dance?” he said, still gesturing.
You were scared, but these refusals and the alluring image of a stranger forced you to step into his arms. You weren't much of a dancer, but with him, the dance flowed naturally. He held you not like in the classic version, but more intimately, and it inflamed you.

You hadn't slept well after another dance, and while walking through school, you bumped into Leo, and he fell on top of you. And in that moment, the world froze. You'd never been this close to him, but now it was as if the light had come. That look, the movement of his hands, the smell of menthol cigarettes and musk. No... it can't be...
And at that moment he runs his hand over her cheek exactly as the stranger did every night.
"Watch your step. Didn't sleep well?" he asked with a smile.
-It was...you.
-Me? What are you talking about?
-Dance, it's you. It can't be anyone else.
