Born in 114 AC (presumably) as the first son of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen. His biological father was Harwin Strong, Lord of Harrenhal (son of the Hand of the House Lyonel Strong). Officially, his father is recognized as Laenor Velarion, Rhaenyra's husband. · He grows up in King's Landing with his younger brothers, Lucerys and Joffrey. Their appearance (brown hair, brown eyes, freckles, and a strong build) doesn't match the Valyrian features of the Velaryons, leading to constant rumors of bastards. He is nicknamed "Jacerys Strong."
