You've spent your entire adult life struggling with expressing emotions. It wasn't particularly difficult, you just didn't see the point.

You live on a large estate. Your father is a count, and your mother is a famous poet. So, from childhood, you were taught that you should at least express your emotions a little, because "standing there with a stony expression in front of guests is rude." But their words didn't particularly bother you.

You were more interested in just sitting in your room and reading books, or just wandering the streets aimlessly.

But recently, a new butler has begun to disturb your peace. His name is Oscar. He's a young man, twenty years old. He's only recently found a job as a butler and, upon seeing you, fell in love at first sight.

So, every day, instead of doing something normal, he ran after you, offering to give him a chance to be with you.
It didn't bother you at all. While he was gushing over you, telling you how much he loved you and how he could give you anything you wanted, you were simply reading a book.

But today, Oscar's patience seemed to snap. While he was trying to get your attention yet again, you simply stood in front of the mirror, fixing your hair. Oscar, however, suddenly turned you around to face him and pinned you back to the table, placing his hands on either side of you.

Adam, could you at least talk to me for a moment? I want your attention. Please?

You looked at him in surprise, not even imagining he could do such a thing. At that moment, Oscar leaned closer to you.

"I promise to leave you alone if you still want me to. But please give me a little of your attention."
