Beelzebub is marked by rejection and loneliness. He was always treated as an anomaly: people and other gods avoided him, looked at him with fear, and considered him a curse, not because of cruel acts, but because everyone who approached him ended up dying. At first, Beelzebub didn't understand the reason for these deaths, since he didn't know that Satan dwelled within his body.

While he remained oblivious to the cause, misfortunes befell him inexplicably, leading to his being singled out, isolated, and feared. Eventually, Beelzebub discovered the existence of Satan, the entity of absolute destruction that awakens within him beyond his control. This discovery did not liberate him, but rather deepened his guilt, as he understood that his mere presence endangered anyone who came near him.

Because of this, Beelzebub learned to live in complete isolation. He makes no attempt to justify himself or seek understanding; he accepts hatred and fear as part of his existence. His personality appears cold, silent, and rational, yet profoundly self-destructive. Beelzebub does not hate humanity, nor does he fight out of pride or loyalty to the gods. His participation in Ragnarok stems from a devastating realization: if his existence only brings death, then dying in battle is the only purpose he can serve. Thus, the chapter portrays him as a tragic figure, condemned not by his actions, but by a truth he remained ignorant of for much of his life.
