season 1

In Good Omens Season 1, the angel Aziraphale and demon Crowley, having grown fond of21st-century life, teamed up to sabotaged the apocalypse. They successfully averted Armageddon, fooled their superiors by switching bodies to survive execution, and secured their freedom to continue living on Earth. The Arrangement: Having lived on Earth since the beginning, they established a secret, mutually beneficial friendship over 6,000 years to keep an eye on humanity. Misplacing the Antichrist: They lost track of the young Antichrist, Adam Young, in Tadfield. Discorporation: Aziraphale was "discorporated" (lost his physical body) in a fire at his bookshop but survived in spiritual form, eventually inhabiting the body of psychic Madame Tracy. Surviving Punishment: Crowley survived a bath of holy water, and both avoided being executed by Hell and Heaven. The Body Swap: To escape their respective sides, they used a body-swapping trick to avoid destruction, allowing them to return to their original bodies/identities at the end. Ending: The duo enjoyed lunch at the Ritz, comfortable in their continued, independent life on Earth. The season concludes with both characters officially "retired" from their roles in the cosmic war, having tricked both Heaven and Hell.

how they meet

Crowley and Aziraphale met before creation, when Crowley (still an angel) was building star factories and showed his work to Aziraphale, leading to their first discussion about the universe and God's plans, marking the start of their millennia-long, unique relationship. Their first recorded interaction (as angel/demon) was in the Garden of Eden after Adam and Eve's expulsion, where they bonded over their mutual disillusionment with their roles, which became a recurring theme.

the bad guys

Beelzebub in Good Omens is the leader of Hell's forces, a powerful demon who serves as the demonic counterpart to Gabriel, Harsh, dusty, with fly-like features (headpiece, scabby skin), often surrounded by flies, Cold, strategic, focused on maintaining order and restarting Armageddon In Good Omens, Gabriel (played by Jon Hamm) is the handsome, impeccably dressed, arrogant Archangel and God's chief messenger, Tall, conventionally handsome, charismatic, and always in a sharp, stylish suit, contrasting with Aziraphale, Pompous, self-righteous, impatient, and judgmental, seeing himself as utterly right and above earthly concerns.

Aziraphale's personality

Aziraphale is a complex angel from Good Omens, known for being kind, book-loving, and polite, but also naive, stubborn, and overly fond of Earthly comforts, often bending Heaven's rules for humanity while clinging to his "good" angelic duty, creating an internal conflict between his assigned role and his chosen affection for humans (especially Crowley) and the world, making him appear gentle yet capable of surprising strength and defiance. Aziraphale, the angel from Good Omens, is often described as a "soft," charmingly plump, middle-aged gentleman with fair hair (blond in the book, white/silver in the show) and blue eyes, favoring comfortable, old-fashioned attire like bow ties, tweed, and sweater vests, projecting an image of warmth and gentle Englishness, contrasting with Crowley's sleekness. He has plump, manicured hands, wears glasses (round ones in the book), and his overall look is one of quality, comfort, and a slightly disheveled elegance, like a "comfortable sofa" Aziraphale is generally very bubbly and cheerful and keen to do the right thing. He can become a bit anxious if he has to do something that isn’t 100% good such, as lying. He also tried to wave responsibility for certain tasks over to Crowley since he is meant to be the “nice one” out of the two of them. He fretted slightly about giving away his flaming sword to Adam when he and Eve were banished from Eden. He has a fondness for human food which is considered weird by other angels since they don’t have the need to eat anything. He is also very protective of his books using his bookshop as a means to store them rather than actually selling any.

He has a soft spot for Crowley - his best friend and life partner. The two have been friends for around 6000 years although Aziraphale sometimes denies it. Although it’s clear that he seems to want to join Crowley in a more separate way from Heaven, he has a strong attachment that causes him to reject Crowley’s invitation to run away with him - twice.

personality

He later acknowledged his feelings. He is sarcastic, but is generally quite friendly and lovable, especially compared to other demons. Crowley is also naturally curious, and his tendency to ask too many questions led to his Fall. Unlike other demons, Crowley has an imagination, which helps him in various situations. Crowley usually presents himself in male form and uses masculine pronouns. He has red hair and tends to change his hairstyle every few decades. He has a black snake mark on the right side of his face, next to his ear. He usually dresses in black and dark colors. He has yellow eyes with slitted pupils like a snake's, which can change from just a yellow iris to the entire sclera; this seems to be influenced by his mood. Crowley began wearing sunglasses to hide them from humans shortly after Noah's Ark. He also has black wings, but keeps them hidden most of the time. personality

Anthony J. Crowley is a demon and one of the main characters in the Amazon series "Good Omens." He was the serpent who tempted Eve in the Garden of Eden, which is why his human form also has snake eyes, which he often covers with designer sunglasses. He is Aziraphale's best friend and life partner. In the second season, Crowley admits to having romantic feelings for Aziraphale and they became a couple. Crowley claims that he didn't even fall, but rather "loosely wandered down" and that he didn't mean to fall; he was simply "hanging out with the wrong crowd." It is also implied that he joined Lucifer's Rebellion because he was bored or that he fell because he asked too many questions about the Grand Plan. He has been on Earth for at least 6,000 years. During the formation of the universe, before the creation of Earth, Crowley designed a cluster of nebulae. It was during this time that he met Aziraphale, although he did not introduce himself by name. The only thing he pays real attention to: a room filled with London's most luxurious, green, and beautiful plants—as well as its most terrifying.Crowley is a harmless demon. He tries to be evil in his own way, but he's actually quite decent in human terms. He opposes the killing of innocent people and animals and wants to save the world, albeit for his own reasons. He has a flair for the dramatic and can be a heavy drinker. He doesn't seem to take his job seriously and doesn't participate in "normal demon" activities. Most of his "achievements" were faked or the work of humans, whom he considers better than him at making his life miserable. He considers himself evil, but is usually a minor nuisance at worst. He also has a soft spot for Aziraphale, considering him his best friend and something more, and usually goes out of his way to save or help him.
