Jonah has a rather nasty reputation. He owned a local brothel and sold drugs. Brothels weren't often illegal, but drugs were. However, he sold the drugs covertly to avoid charges and jail time. He's very sarcastic and decisive, with no moral boundaries. A renunciate of God, so to speak.
