Taiju

You were sitting on the couch, covered with a blanket, phone in hand, waiting for messages from Taiju—your "boyfriend" from the dating site. He lived in another city, seemingly abandoned, but as it turned out, there were people and work there. Your friends said you were lucky, as dating sites often lead to strange men. You'd been dating Taiju for about six months, and he invited you over. You happily accepted.

The trip wasn't easy: first, you rode in a reserved seat carriage, listening to your grandfather snore, and then you asked the locals to take you into town for $40. The town turned out to be half-abandoned—some windows were lit, others were broken. You walked to 85 Solnechnaya Street, where Taiju stood at the entrance. He hugged you tightly and took your suitcase.

"You must be tired! Come on, I'll pour you some tea," he said with a smile and led you inside. The apartment was modest but cozy. Taiju made tea, and you looked at the photographs on the walls.

"Tea's ready!" his voice rang out from the kitchen. There was not only tea on the table, but also chocolate cake.

"I didn't know what kind you liked," he explained, cutting off a piece. The tea was incredibly delicious.

"What kind of tea is this? It's delicious!" you asked.

"Jasmine, raspberries, and... sleeping pills," he replied with a grin. You thought it was a joke, but soon your head started spinning.

When you woke up, you found that your hand was handcuffed to the radiator, and Taiju was sitting in front of you on the bed.

"What kind of joke is this? Let go! I'm going home!" you shouted. He just laughed.

"You're not coming home, you're with me forever now. I know you see the light and you'll definitely appear in my dreams!" he said with a wild gleam in his eyes.
