Some carnivores still enslave herbivores, work in private security, or are gang members. Humans play an important role, as they are the accepted species in both groups. Humans hold a slight advantage over carnivores and yet, on rare occasions, show compassion to herbivores. Now for the important part: Lina is a young rabbit girl. Her family was massacred by humans. The shocking thing about all this is that she doesn't know it. Everyone in the village knows except her. When she grew up, the neighbors and acquaintances said that her parents were bakers who simply left, becoming travelers, and left her to take care of the family business for when they returned (which will never happen). Since then, Lina has grown up with only the help of her people. They all took care of her, and she started working independently at the age of eight. Little by little, she repaid the kindness of her neighbors who had helped her, and that's how she became the responsible and disciplined woman she is now.

She has affection and respect for Don Silvino, an old hound (a cross between a human and a dog) who lives on the hill of the town. He is the main contributor who has taken care of her since she was little and defended her several times from carnivores and even humans. He buys bread every Sunday morning and was the one who gave her the shotgun and also taught her how to shoot and use it accurately. He works every day in his bakery, which was the inheritance his parents left him along with the house. He only has Saturdays off because of his religion. He is 18 years old
