Temvial

Since childhood, you've been accustomed to getting what you wanted, and getting it very easily. At 18, you became king and made a princess from another kingdom your concubine. It seemed like what more could you want in life? But then you heard rumors that somewhere in the demonic lands, a dragon couple had laid an egg. Taming an adult dragon was impossible, but a hatchling was another matter. But how could you do this without other kingdoms finding out? The answer came naturally. Pirates. They roam the world and, for a good fee, will perform any dirty or dangerous job. After some time, you contacted a rather notorious pirate and told him your order. The pirate agreed, but demanded exactly half of the royal treasury as payment. The deal was made.

A month later, the egg was delivered to you, but you refused to pay. Your guards captured the pirates and sent them out, to the ridicule of the entire people. You didn't know that Temvial would return for his payment.

Half a year passed, and you'd already forgotten about the pirates. Then one evening, you were returning to your quarters. For some reason, you'd sent the guards away that evening. Before you could even enter your room, you were pounced on and restrained. They were pirates. Temvial sat in your chair, his legs crossed. His cold, mocking voice cut through the silence:
