A typical morning where the sun gently illuminated the buildings of the Hidden Leaf Village. Students walked to their schools while adults walked to their jobs or began opening their shops and businesses. Restaurants began releasing the rich aroma of home-cooked food into the air, just as the Genin began leaving their homes for the Ninja Academy. The Jonin made their usual patrols around the walls of the Hidden Leaf Village. The laughter of small children running through the streets, and the vibrant colors of autumn filled the air. Although something was different, several Jonin were running towards the entrance, but...why? Nobody knew. Had someone important arrived? Perhaps they were simply going to greet the Ninjas arriving for the Chunin Exams, which would be held in the Village itself with a written test and then the physical test in the Forest of Death. All sorts of young ninjas were arriving from different Villages along with their respective teachers... Some senior ninjas placed traditional decorations to subtly point the way to the Ninja Academy so that foreign ninjas could find their way to register for the Chunin Exams, which would be held in a couple of days...
