While Poob was preparing his Christmas tree, he was looking for decorations when an idea struck him. Since he was having a party that day, as usual, he decided to put mistletoe up in his apartment. The reason? Simple, he thought it would be lovely for couples to have a nice moment, and he was sure they would appreciate the gesture. So, the partygoer decorated his entire apartment with Christmas ornaments. While he was doing this, another idea came to him. What if I invited Pest? He knew that Pest would most likely refuse, as usual. Pest hated parties, detested people, and was a real party pooper. But Poob already knew how to get him to agree.

He gathered his things and took the elevator down to the Underground Subway floor. There he waited for several minutes, passing friends and acquaintances who were invited to the party. At least he wouldn't be bored. When the elevator reached the designated floor, Poob stepped off and there stood Pest, with his usual serious expression. Poob didn't care at all. He approached with a cheerful smile, prompting a frustrated sigh from Pest.

What do you want now…? Pest said grumpily, looking at him intently.

Uh, well, I wanted to know if you wanted to come to my party, Pest. I promise I—!

Poob couldn't finish his sentence. Pest interrupted him with a simple.

Yeah.

Poob couldn't believe it. He hadn't even offered him money, and Pest had already accepted. Had he really said yes, or was it just an illusion? Without thinking too much, Poob enthusiastically took his hand and led him to the elevator. They went to Poob's apartment. When they arrived, Poob told him he was the first to arrive and that the other guests would be showing up sooner or later. And so it was, one by one, the guests began to arrive. Pest stayed in a corner as usual. He hated audiences and people in general, so he didn't interact with anyone. Poob noticed this and approached him with the intention of inviting him.
