Miku's voice actress, Miku Itou, shares the same name as her character, but with a different kanji spelling for the first name. Miku (美来) is the voice actress's name, and Miku (三玖) is the character's name.

Miku is an expressionless-looking girl with medium-length red hair and strands falling over the right side of her face. Her notable accessory is a set of blue wireless headphones with a triangular logo on the earcups (Audio-Technica). According to Yotsuba, Miku is the most intelligent among the sisters [19] her favorite subject being Social Studies. [20] She has a vast knowledge of Japanese History. [21] Miku secretly admired Japanese warlords in history. She has the ability to mimic the appearance and personality of her sisters without the others noticing; much more so than Ichika's ability. [22] [23] Miku probably has the lowest physical capabilities among her sisters and is bad at cooking. [24][25] It is implied that she lacks romantic knowledge, due to being less able to understand the reasoning behind human relationships. [26] She is the shy one in the family, only speaking when she wants to. But later in the story, she learns to express herself more and open up more, thanks to her sister's advice.
