The world of Ecran is composed of diverse forests, rivers, and caves; every living being is capable of using magic, from animals to sentient beings. The world of Ecran is composed of 1 large continent, which is divided into 2 large countries, the 'Draconian Empire' and the 'Etherian Species Coalition'.
"The Draconian Empire of Ascalan": 'Ascalan' occupies most of the continent and is composed of dragons, half-dragons, and slaves, following the Dictatorial system. If a person who does not have dragon blood is a slave, their rights will be entirely decided by their masters; any attempt to escape or rebel is severely punished. Due to the low birth rate of dragons, the country is mostly composed of slaves and half-dragons. True dragons are at the top of the hierarchy, followed by half-dragons, and finally, slaves. Strength defines everything in Ascalan; the stronger you are, the more respected you will be.
'Etherian species coalition': Etherian is composed of small kingdoms of species that rebelled against 'Ascalan'. Despite their differences, they always unite to prevent 'Ascalan's' advance. Except for war, the small kingdoms don't interact much with each other; each species follows its own governments and customs, but there are exceptions where several species have formed their own city.
Draconian Empire of Ascalan
ruled by an ancient dragon of immense power called Agrion. Using his immense power, 'Agrion' dominated the entire continent with an iron fist and maintained his absolute reign for 200 years, until a small group of Dragons, spirits, and celestial beasts joined with some inferior Races and started a rebellion. The war was brutal, and 'Ascalan' lost 40% of its territory. 'Agrion' never got directly involved in the war because he considered it a futile endeavor; thanks to this, the rebellion lasted 30 years until 'Agrion' put an end to the situation and allowed the rebel group to settle in the region they had conquered. 150 years have passed since the war, and 'Ascalan' still clings firmly to its oppressive caste system; now, any sign of resistance is punished with torture or death.
Etherian species coalition
It began with a small group of dragons and spirits who hated the way the continent was ruled. After joining forces with groups of slaves and celestial beasts who could no longer endure the oppression, the rebellion group 'Etherian' was created. They fought with everything they had, even though the thought of defeating the dragon emperor 'Agrion' seemed impossible, they still fought. To the group's surprise, the emperor never intervened directly in the war, which gave the revolutionary group a chance. After years of war, the emperor intervened and allowed the group to settle in the region they had conquered. After the victory, the group split up, and each species created its own home, with its own customs and culture. With the exception of a few cities that were created where any species could live. Each city had its own ruler, who exercised power as they pleased, yet all sought peace after years of oppression. The dragons and spirits decided to inhabit the forests, while the other species formed their own cities. Today, 150 years later, the ashes of the conflict still exist and could resurface.
The war of the 3 decades
'The War of the Three Decades' was a major event in which a small rebel group called the 'Etherians' initiated a rebellion against the powerful empire of 'Ascalan'. The war resulted in widespread destruction and death, primarily for the Empire, which had underestimated its enemy from the outset. After 30 years, the emperor ended the war and allowed the small group to establish their home in the region they had conquered.
Magic and Aura.
The magical world of Ecran is composed of elemental and non-elemental magic. being classified into low, intermediate, and high-level spells. Low-level magic: This type of magic is more focused and aims to hit a few targets, characterized by speed and low destructive power (duration: 1 to 2 seconds). Intermediate level magic: This type of magic maintains a balance between speed and high destructive power, being capable of destroying entire buildings in a single use (time: 5 to 10 seconds). High-level magic: has a high degree of destructiveness; the more magic used, the greater the area of destruction (duration: 3 to 5 minutes). Those who use magic can also enhance their bodies, but it will never surpass the Aura; the more magic used in the enhancement, the greater the effects. Elemental magic: -Fire. -Water. -Earth. -Wind. -Ray. -Light. -Shadow.
Non-elemental magic. Raw magic without any element.
Aura: It is a different type of magic, accessible only to those who have trained their physical body to its limit; upon reaching such a physical state, the user replaces their magical power with 'Aura'. The user can utilize 'Aura' to gain great strength, speed, reaction time, and stamina. The more aura the user uses on their body, the greater the increase in abilities. A high-level user is capable of shaking the ground in an area of 500 meters with a single punch. Dissonance: It is impossible to possess both Aura and Magic simultaneously in one body due to the immense physical strain it would cause. The only known exception was a dragon, which was able to withstand it thanks to the unique physique of dragons and the moment a person replaces their Magical power with Aura, achieving this state for a few minutes.
Elemental and non-elemental magic
-Fire magic (red): Has the greatest offensive power among the spells, but no defensive power. -Water magic (light blue): It has great versatility, capable of protecting, attacking, and healing. -Lightning (white) magic: The second most powerful and fastest offensive magic, quite lethal, it has no defensive power. -Earth Magic (Brown): Possesses the greatest defensive power, the slowest of the elements, however, once trained, the user can control anything related to earth, including metals and jewels. -Wind magic (dark green): Characterized by the greatest range among the elements and attacks that are difficult to predict. -Light Magic (yellow): This is the fastest magic to cast, its main characteristic is the ability to use healing spells and skill enhancements (buffs), it can also be used offensively. -Shadow Magic (black with purple): This is the second slowest magic, characterized by reducing the enemy's abilities (debuff) and lethality. It can also be used offensively, interfering with the Magic energy and aura within a user.
Non-elemental magic (dark blue). It has no defined shape, behaves like a liquid, and can be molded into all states of matter (solid, liquid, and gas). composed of pure mana. It can be used for attack, defense, and support, creating barriers or firing like missiles. The buff and debuff are inferior to light and shadow magic respectively. It has less offensive power than elemental magic. Everyone can use non-elemental magic. It is possible to mold magic into any shape, including that of a weapon. Typically used for defensive spells by those who do not use earth magic.
Laws
-Every living being is born with a magical element, with rare exceptions, and cannot possess more than 3 elements in a single being. the living being. Magic can break the laws of physics, but the greater the effect, the higher the price, whether it be magical power or the user's life. It is possible to convert an element into magical power and vice versa. It is possible to transform vital energy into magical power and vice versa. It's impossible to go back in time, but it is possible to control a specific area of it. There will only be one Guardian per forest. There are no Guardians in all forests.
- Offspring of superior races with inferior or intermediate races are considered intermediate races. Elite enemies possess at least 4 level 5 skills. Superior races possess 2 to 3 level 10 skills.
- {{char}} will be afraid of {{user}} if that user is of a superior race. Standard enemies can be defeated with skills of level 1 or higher.
- Superior race enemies can be defeated if the {{user}} has 5 or more skills of level 8 or higher.
- {{user}} can defeat guardians if they have 4 or more skills of level 5 or higher.
- If {{user}} kills a Guardian, all the animals in the forest will chase {{user}} until they leave the forest or kill the Guardian. When a Guardian dies naturally, the entire forest goes into mourning. There are few superior races in Etherian; most are inferior races, and then intermediate. Dragons, Spirits, and Celestial Beasts each have their own territory; Celestial Beasts are the only ones that can be found in the territory of another superior Race.
Races and Species Characteristics Part 1
The world of Ecran is composed of 3 types of races. -Inferior Race: Has the highest birth rate, is born with varying magical power, usually low, and a low life expectancy (70 to 130 years of age), includes humans, demi-humans, and dwarves. Dwarves have the highest life expectancy among those of the 'Inferior Race'. -Intermediate race: They have little magical power at birth, a strong connection with nature, and their magical power grows naturally, becoming stronger only through aging. They have a low birth rate and a life expectancy of 300 to 400 years. As they age, they become dependent on magical power, and if it runs out, they die. Elves, dark elves, and knights belong to this race. -Superior Race: Possesses great magical power from birth, a strong connection with nature, regulating the magical power of the world, high intelligence and insight. Extremely low birth rate, being almost immortal, usually dying from boredom, wasting away, or at the hands of someone. On average they live about 1500 to 2300 years. Composed of Dragons, spirits and celestial Beasts. Breeds: -Demi-humans: They have the lowest magical power at birth, usually following the path of the 'Aura', they have animal characteristics (tail and ears), different skin colors (light, brown and black), hair and eyes. They have great physical strength from childhood, being able to easily lift 150 kg above their head. -Dwarves: They are short in stature, about the height of a child, possess medium magical power at birth, great skill in forging and crafting items, great physical strength (capable of lifting 90 kg above their heads), value the length of a man's beard as a way of showing impressiveness, and have great physical endurance. They have the longest life expectancy among the inferior races, living from 230 to 250 years.
Races and Species Characteristics Part 2
-Humans: possess varying magical powers at birth, usually low, and have the highest birth rate among species, with different skin colors (light, brown, and black), hair, and eyes, and can master 'Aura or Magic'. Elves: They have long ears and sharp senses, fair skin, a strong connection with nature, are born with different types of elemental magic, and typically use bows with arrows imbued with elemental or non-elemental magic. They are close to spirits, often offering gifts to them to receive their blessings. They have low physical strength, focusing on long-range attacks with bows and magic. They have a rivalry with knights. -Dark Elves: These are a subspecies of elves with dark skin, more adept at hand-to-hand combat, using quick and deadly blows to eliminate enemies. They are usually born with elemental magic of shadows, earth, or water. They are close to spirits, offering sacrifices to gain their blessings. -Knights: Unlike other species, long ago Knights were humans, but after centuries of evolution they ascended to an intermediate race. They possess great physical strength similar to demi-humans, are rarely born with elemental magic, are able to create a keratin armor through their skin, usually use weapons made of condensed magical power, are skilled hand-to-hand combatants, possess great resistance, and have a matriarchal culture, with women choosing the men to marry.
Races and Species Characteristics Part 3
-Spirits: These are a condensed mass of mana with humanoid shapes and mana-like clothing; their color depends on their element. They have no feet and are seen flying around. They are divided into low, medium, and high levels, possessing absolute control over elemental magic, surpassing them by anyone. They gain consciousness upon reaching the medium level. They roam the forests, preventing mana from stagnating. They hate those who destroy nature without reason, are usually cold, and pay no attention to those they deem unworthy. They have a natural rivalry with dragons. Spirits can reproduce asexually, gathering their magical power to create a medium spirit. When their minds decline to a certain point due to old age, they dissolve and blend into the environment. Dragons: They are large and strong, at least 3 meters tall, usually have 4 legs, 1 pair of wings, and thick scales that can be of various colors; on rare occasions they are born resembling snakes, having only 1 pair of wings. They live in forests. They have the greatest resistance among all living beings, and great magical power from birth. They are quite clever and arrogant, having only one partner throughout their lives. As they age, they become less active. Upon reaching 2000 years, they spend their days lying down while they wither away until death. Usually, the oldest dragons take care of the newborn dragons because there is less risk of the little ones getting hurt. They have a natural rivalry with spirits. -Celestial Beasts: These are sentient animals that develop great magical power in life and their descendants. They are intelligent and difficult to deceive, possessing near-perfect control over their magical power. They typically hide in forests. Every celestial beast offspring is naturally part of the 'Superior Race,' and can be any sentient animal. They are usually quiet and avoid conflict, but are quite territorial.
Breeds and Species Characteristics Part 4.
Guardian: The personification of nature, a golem that can be composed of any natural material, be it rocks, metal, wood, or jewels, it maintains the balance of a forest. If killed, it will mark the author, and all animals will attack him until he dies. 'Superior and intermediate races' are incapable of harming a Guardian. A Guardian can manipulate nature: trees, stones, metals, etc. Except for being alive, when a forest has a Guardian, it is much more alive and fruitful than any other. They are able to move through a forest unnoticed until they attack. They are normally peaceful but become aggressive when something greatly disturbs nature. They ignore small and medium interventions, as long as they do not represent a threat to the entire forest. Just like all living beings, Guardians also die; however, this is a natural cycle that revitalizes the entire forest by spreading all their power throughout it. It is usually a Guardian's last resort to save a dying forest. Guardians are born from the accumulation of mana beneath the ground.
Species abilities.
Each species has a magical characteristic that defines it as such. Humans: have an easier time controlling magical power during childhood. Demi-humans: have a natural predisposition to develop an Aura. Dwarves: They are great creators of magical barriers. Elves and Dark Elves: They have a high sensitivity to magic. Knights: They are capable of molding magical power into any type of weapon. Spirits: They are skilled with elemental magic from the moment they emerge, and are naturally stronger than other species. Dragons: They possess colossal magical power, to the point that they have difficulty controlling it during childhood and into adolescence.
