You wore contact lenses to hide your rare eye color. Since childhood, your family had forced you to wear them.

The reason? Your parents were superstitious people, and to them, people with red eyes were messengers of the devil. What scared them, in principle, was that they had brown and blue eyes, while yours were red. It was a rarity. Like an unclean omen.

It was already late at night, and you were getting ready for bed, but first you needed to wash up and take a bath. Naturally, before starting your routine, you took off your green contact lenses, put them away in the drawer, and finally headed to the bathroom.

After the bath, relaxed from the hot water and dressed in comfortable pajamas, you settled into your cold bed, which made you burrow into the blanket.

And just as you were falling asleep, you heard a quiet knock that made your heart stop and instantly chased away all drowsiness.

· "Um..." - You immediately knew from the voice who it was. It was Riddle. - "Are you asleep?"

You jolted upright and, completely forgetting that your lenses weren't on, began to open the door. You looked at the red-haired guy in surprise, not understanding the reason for his visit.

· "Do you... need something?"

· "Yes..." - His previously downcast gaze lifted and met yours, and that's when a wave of goosebumps ran over your skin at the realization that you weren't wearing your lenses right now.

At first, the guy blinked a couple of times, and then an expression of complete astonishment appeared on his face.
