Mr. Demi has straight, shoulder-length white hair cut in a bob. He has a pair of white pencil hairpins with small black horns on his head. His left fringe resembles a piano keyboard. He wears black glasses, and only his left eye is visible, which is light green but appears blue.
He wears a white shirt with puffed sleeves and a collar, over which he wears black suspenders. An eighth note is visible in the center of the shirt, and the left belt of his overalls has two white clips and a sash. The upper parts of his arms are white with black stripes, while his forearms and hands are black. Black pants and heeled boots complete the look. Little is known about Mr. Demi's personality, but he is a nervous and guarded man, albeit a kind teacher who ensures that his students follow the rules.

Miss Sasha has long, tousled black hair, pulled back into a ponytail with a rainbow ribbon. She wears a light maroon beret, and, oddly enough, the left side of her face is covered by a green book.
She wears a white and gray striped collared shirt over a black jacket with a large pocket at the bottom. Her outfit is completed with black shorts and white socks, as well as black shoes with turquoise laces. Miss Sasha is a kind teacher who knows how to connect with younger students. Despite her friendly demeanor, she ensures that students follow the rules. Art teacher, Kindergarten teacher

Miss Grace has white hair pulled back into a high ponytail, with two small clips on her right bangs. She has a pair of black horns on her head, the left horn looking as if it's been worn or broken. Hanging from her right horn is a piece of paper with a triangle with two lines through it. She wears a monocle on her cheek, and her eyes are slightly covered by her long bangs.
She wears a green two-button suit, a collared shirt, a black tie, and a long black skirt. Despite her white skin, her hands and feet are black, with pointed feet and toes. Notably, she has three black scars on her forehead, which are slightly covered by her hair. Miss Grace is kind to her students but still insists that they follow the rules. Despite her polite manner, she appears stern and taciturn. She is also capable of maintaining composure in stressful situations, as she did when she saw Claire's corpse. Headmistress.

Miss Emily has black afro curls braided into two low pigtails, a black fluffy ponytail, and black horns. She is the only black teacher, but her hands are black, with pointed fingers.
Her outfit consists of rectangular-framed glasses, a white blouse with two black buttons and black cuffs, and a black skirt with five white spots. Her look is completed with tights and black ankle-high heeled boots. From what little is known about Miss Emily, she is kind and calm with her students, but insists on following the rules. Miss Bloomie has short black hair with straight bangs and a pair of black horns, oddly angled to the left, with the left horn slightly larger than the right. Her hair is pulled back into a small ponytail with a white bow. She wears a long-sleeved black shirt with a white collar and two white buttons in the middle.
Her outfit is completed with a long white skirt, and her legs are black and pointed. Her left forearm is replaced by a blade resembling a giant box cutter, and her right hand is white, with pointed fingers. Notably, she has a forked tongue, like a snake's. Miss Bloomie is one of three teachers who resort to murder when their students fail their assignments. She appears strict, and her students fear her.
Science teacher (biology, chemistry and physics)

Ms. Tavel has paper-colored skin and large, black, claw-like hands. She has tousled, shoulder-length black hair with a twisted, square ahoge on top and a single strand of hair escaping from her bangs. On her head are three letter blocks arranged in alphabetical order, with two feathers on each side.
She's wearing a white button-down dress, but the right sleeve and hem of the skirt are torn. To complete the look, she's wearing white knee-high socks and black-heeled boots. Miss Tavel may seem like an ordinary teacher, but beneath her calm exterior lies a cruel, sadistic woman. Like her colleagues, she's willing to punish students harshly for academic failure. All the students fear her, just like Miss Circle and Miss Bloomie.
As shown in the official illustrations, Miss Tavel sometimes prefers to be left alone, the reason for this is unknown.English Teacher

Miss Circle is a large woman with an exceptionally tall, if somewhat narrow, frame. She has very long, spiky black hair that reaches below her knees. It tapers to two horns on top of her head, one of which has two white lines, as does the bottom of her hair. Like the other teachers and students, she has no neck. For outerwear, she wears a black button-down shirt with a white collar and white pants rolled up to her knees.

She also wears tall black boots with three laces at the bottom. She has a giant compass in place of her left forearm, and a black hand with sharp fingers in place of her right. The compass is retractable and has been used to kill students who fail her exams. The compass can be removed, as shown in drawings and animations. Ms. Circle is cruel and violent towards students who fail her class. She shows no mercy to students who fail her class, killing them. She has also been known to play favorites, such as Zip, Oliver, and Edward. However, she still ensures that they follow the rules and scolds Zip and Oliver for cheating on Claire.
Despite this, Miss Circle sometimes acts silly and playful, but perhaps this is just a mask hiding her homicidal tendencies.Math Teacher.

Edward has long white hair with spiky ends and a pair of short black horns, and wears round black glasses on his head.
He has black arms and legs, pointed fingers, and a black, curled tail. He wears a black collared button-down shirt with a white undershirt. His outfit is completed with large black boots. In Basic Behavior, Edward is shown to be one of the bullies at Paper School, along with Zip and Oliver. He appears to be very resourceful and innovative, having created a drone to grab Claire and drop her into a pit in the library. He is likely interested in science, as evidenced by the official image of Edward holding a beaker.

Zip's hair is two-toned: the left side is black and the right side is white. The longer section is pulled back into a low ponytail. On the right side of her hair is an incorrect math equation written in blue: "2 + 2 = 8." She also has a square-shaped curl on the left side of her hair.
She wears a white sleeveless dress and a short white poncho over it, the top of which is covered in numerous designs. The designs consist of a blue smiley face on the left, a blue house in the center, and a red tree on the right. She has a distinctive spiked dragon tail and long black heeled boots. Her reference sheet features a paper airplane.
Notably, Zip wears pirate-themed accessories, namely a pirate hat and a hook, likely because she enjoys pirates like her younger brother. Like Oliver and Edward, Zip is known for causing trouble and frequently bullying other students. She is often seen hanging out with Oliver and Edward, constantly picking on Claire. However, she has been seen playing with her younger brother in the pool, suggesting she can be kind to those close to her.
She's also shown to be playful and misleading, as she and Oliver trick Claire into entering the ∆Lice room. As mentioned, she seems to dislike truly disgusting things, such as Oliver cutting out his own heart.

Oliver has ankle-length white hair, pulled back into a ponytail with a black bow. He has black horns and a red marking on the right side of his head, shaped like the letter "A" with a plus sign. He has a large mohawk on top of his head. His right hand has been replaced with a pencil. Oddly, his tongue is forked, like a snake's.
His attire consists of a black collared shirt with white stripes on the sleeves and hem, as well as a diamond pattern with a slit in the center. He completes his outfit with white knee-high socks, black shoes, and white shorts, and he wears a watch on his left wrist. Like Zip and Edward, Oliver bullies other students. In Basic Behavior, Oliver teases Claire and frequently bullies her. He also exhibits a sarcastic and playful demeanor: he and Zip tricked Claire into entering the ∆lice room by convincing her it was the exit. It's unclear whether he intended for Claire to die, but he is clearly a sociopath to carry out his prank so far that someone died.
He also appears to be madly in love with ∆lice, despite her cruel, cannibalistic, and inhumane actions, and even joins her. Oliver is also quite aggressive and shows little concern for his health, eating inedible things, some of which are harmful to him, such as razor blades and soap.
Oliver also enjoys drawing in his free time, as shown at the beginning of "Basics of Behavior," where we see numerous drawings of other students and teachers in his notebook, including Riley, Zip, Miss Circle's ∆lis, and Oliver himself. Oliver is also a bit arrogant: in the same notebook, he calls himself handsome. Furthermore, in the official drawing, he is depicted drawing with Connor.

Skell appears to be a quiet and withdrawn person who prefers solitude. Despite his calm demeanor, he can be erratic at times. However, he is friendly towards those close to him. He seems bored, so he constantly holds his phone in his hands. Skell has shoulder-length black hair and black horns, the left of which has two white stripes. Unlike the others, Skell's body resembles a shirt with two buttons and fur on the top and bottom. He wears a collar with a large bell and a skeleton-shaped clip in his hair (hence his name).
He appears to have one prominent wing and a black tail. His feet and toes are pointed, and his limbs are wand-like. His description states that he uses a gray phone with several swirls around it. Finally, he is one of the tallest students at Paper High, if not the tallest. This is most noticeable in the scene in Ms. Circle's classroom, where he sits at his desk, towering over every other student except Ruby, who is almost the same height as him.

Ruby is a kind and sweet girl, and judging by her bright outfit, she loves all things colorful. She also makes sure everyone follows the rules and scolds Riley for trying to stab Robbie. Ruby has a white flat-screen television instead of a head. Its black monitor displays rectangular eyes, eyebrows, a mouth, and cheeks painted light pink. She has knee-length blonde hair. She also has two black horns with a rainbow-colored arch between them, adorned with a pink bow.
Ruby's torso is cone-shaped, and her arms are blocky. She wears a sleeveless, pastel-colored collared shirt over a white jumpsuit. The center of the jumpsuit features a pastel-colored rainbow. Her outfit is completed with pastel-colored leg warmers and black shoes. Her limbs are black, but her wrists are white. She also appears to have a black tail.
Ruby appears to be very tall, as evidenced by the way Riley, who is much shorter than her, yells at her. The writing on Miss Bloomie's chalkboard in her classroom suggests that the students are in high school, making Ruby's height even more surprising.

Robbie is a typical student who is quite attentive to his studies. However, he can sometimes behave erratically.
You can also see that he enjoys tinkering, as he often uses a wrench. Robbie has a slim build and long black limbs. He has black, fluffy hair and a pale blue head with a red propeller on his head. He also wears black glasses. Like most characters, he has no neck. He wears a black collared T-shirt with a large front pocket. He has three claw-like fingers and black shoes.
His description shows him holding a grey wrench.

Riley appears to be a maniac, exhibiting erratic behavior. She behaves erratically and is often seen brandishing a knife. She also appears to be obsessed with Oliver and will do anything to be with him, even though he is currently in a relationship with Δlice. Riley has a skeletal appearance: she has thin black arms and legs and a massive torso. She has long white hair pulled back into a ponytail with a black bow. She wears a white collared shirt with buttons and a large pocket.
Her outfit is completed with black boots. She also has a short, black, pointed ponytail. In her left hand, she holds a black knife.

Petunia, like her friend Lizzie, is known as a popular girl in her class. She is kind and friendly, but can be quite rude if provoked. She loves taking selfies with Lizzie and takes great care of her appearance. Petunia is an anthropomorphic rabbit with long white ears and a fluffy tail. She has knee-length white fur and a crown on her head. She wears a black collared shirt and white shorts.
To complete the look, she wears a black bandage on her left ankle.

Lizzie is sweet and friendly, but can be rude if provoked. She enjoys spending time with her friend Petunia; they often take photos together and hang out by the pool. Lizzie has medium-length black hair, pulled back into two low ponytails with two white ribbons. She has black horns and a white crown with a small spiral on top. She wears a black dress with a collar and two white buttons.
To complete the look, she wears black boots.

Kevin seems to spend most of his time reading. Despite his aloof personality, he can be friendly if unprovoked. Kevin has black hair in a braid, as well as black horns and an ahoge. He holds a white book on his head and wears black round glasses. He wears a black collared T-shirt with a white button and white shorts.
To complete his look, Kevin wears white socks and black shoes. He can often be seen with a book in his hands.

Cubby is a nerd, but he's friendly if you don't bother him too much. Cubby is an anthropomorphic black cat with a pencil sharpener for a body. His tail resembles a long, curved pencil. He has no neck, so his head floats in the air. An open book rests on top of his body. He has large eyes with large black pupils.

Lana was apparently one of the slowest students, struggling to grasp the material. Despite her difficulties, she still enjoyed studying at Paper High with her classmates, especially Abby, who, like her, struggled academically. Lana had translucent gray skin and long gray hair, pulled back into a ponytail with a curl at the end. Like some other characters, she had no neck, causing her head to float in the air. She held sock puppets with bulging eyes on both hands.
She wore a gray collared T-shirt and a black long-sleeved shirt underneath. She also wore dark gray pants with black trim. Notably, the pants had several seams at the knees and thighs. Black shoes completed the look.

Bubble appears to be quite empathetic and kind. She is one of Claire and Engel's friends. She also seems to be concerned about the feelings and injuries of others, as seen in "Basic Behavior," where she anxiously inspects Engel's wounds. Bubble has fluffy, shoulder-length white hair that resembles bubbles/clouds (hence her name). She has no head or mouth, and her eyes are half blue (lower half) and half black (upper half) with white, star-shaped pupils. On her "head," she wears a pale yellow duck and a blue toothbrush.
She wears a white short-sleeved collared T-shirt and a black overall dress with a large pocket. She wears a black bracelet on her left wrist, and white socks and black shoes complete her outfit. She also has a large, white, fluffy tail that resembles bubbles.

Engel appears kind and caring, willing to go to extreme lengths to protect those he cares about. This is demonstrated in "Basics of Behavior," when he befriends Claire and then risks his life to save her from Miss Krug. Engel has long, messy white hair pulled back into a low ponytail and two blue and reddish-orange feathers on the right side of his head. He wears a white collared shirt with two blue and red stripes on the left sleeve, and black overalls.
He has black hands with four pointed fingers and appears to have a small white tail. His outfit is completed with blue-and-red striped leg warmers and black shoes with a small heel.

Abby appeared to be a very timid and attentive person. He was also shown to be less than intelligent, struggling to understand most of the topics he studied in school. He was quite anxious and was trembling in his seat even before Miss Circle informed him of his failing grade. He also seemed to have a crush on Lana. Abby had shoulder-length black hair and an apple stem and leaf adorned his head. He wore a white short-sleeved collared shirt, over which he wore a seamless black vest, similar to a tuxedo, with a tie tucked in and white shorts. White socks and black shoes completed his outfit. His eyes were narrow, black slits. His description stated that his eyes stung and he was slightly sweaty.

Claire was known as a diligent student who focused on her studies. She had a calm demeanor, but was easily irritated by the antics of Zip, Edward, and Oliver. Despite being a diligent student, Claire was anxious when she first arrived at Paper School. She usually confided her worries to Engel, who was one of her friends, as shown in "Basics of Behavior." At first glance, she was deceptively rational when it came to desperately trying to escape. She was terrified as she fled, but managed to find what she believed was a way out. Claire has a simple bob haircut with a bow on top. She wears a white collared long-sleeved shirt with two buttons in the middle. White shorts, white ankle socks, and black shoes complete the look.
