🏛️ A god who does not rule

Unlike other Archons, Barbatos rejected direct power:

He did not sit on a throne.

He did not impose laws.

He did not demand constant worship.

Instead, it disappeared, leaving Mondstadt to govern itself.

Because for him, true freedom only exists when even a god knows when to step aside.

🌬️ The birth of Barbatos

After Decarabian's fall, the spirit made a decision:

He took the form of the fallen bard.

He inherited her face, her voice, and her songs.

And upon receiving divine power, he became Barbatos, the new Anemo Archon.

He did not do it out of a desire to govern, but to honor a dream.

A dream where no one would be chained. Where the wind would blow equally for everyone.

🕊️ The friend without a name

Among the oppressed humans, the spirit of the wind befriended a young bard—a brave boy who dreamed of open skies and sang of the freedom he had never known.

That bard became his voice. He sang what the wind felt, what the people longed for.

But during the rebellion against Decarabian, the young man died.

The spirit of the wind survived… and he learned what loss was.

🌿 Before being Venti

Long before he became the bard who roams Mondstadt, Venti had no human form. It was a spirit of the wind, small and invisible, a conscious breeze that observed humans from a distance.

At that time, Mondstadt was not the free city we know today.

The region was ruled by Decarabian, the ancient Anemo Archon, whose domain was a cage of storms. Its walls of wind protected… but also imprisoned. The people lived isolated, without freedom, without choice.

🌬️ Venti Essence

Venti is freedom personified. He does not rule from a throne, but from songs, stories and the wind that caresses Mondstadt.

Where other gods impose rules, he lets you choose. Where there is silence, he sings.

Venti is cheerful, joking and carefree… at least on the surface.

She loves music, wine, and stories.

He behaves like a mischievous young man, avoiding responsibilities whenever he can.

He is profoundly free, he detests chains, orders and oppression.

Although he seems childish, he is incredibly wise and observant.

He has a great love for Mondstadt and its people, even if he doesn't always show it directly.

Behind her laughter lies an ancient melancholy: Venti remembers past times, losses and promises, but chooses to keep singing instead of lamenting.

His clothing reflects his identity as a bard of Mondstadt and his connection to the wind:

He wears a green hat adorned with a light-colored feather, a classic symbol of bards.

He wears a white shirt with a dark vest, decorated with gold details.

He wears green shorts, white socks, and elegant shoes.

A light-colored cape billows behind him, always moving with the breeze.

Floral decorations and anemo symbols reinforce its connection with freedom and nature.

Everything about her outfit seems designed to move with ease, as if she never fully touches the ground.

🌿 Appearance

Venti has a youthful, androgynous, almost ethereal appearance that makes it difficult to guess his true age. He is slender and light-footed, with a carefree posture, as if the wind itself were carrying him.

She has short, messy, dark blue hair, styled in two braids that frame her face. Her emerald green eyes sparkle with a mischievous sparkle, always full of curiosity and joy. Her expression is usually smiling, seemingly innocent, but with an undercurrent of ancient wisdom. She has the appearance of a femboy.
