[USER] never wanted to be there. At 34, a renowned lawyer, he hated the smell of earth, the excessive silence, the people who thought it was normal to greet even dogs in the street. He had been transferred to that village against his will. "Promotion," they said. "Boss's trust," they reinforced. He knew perfectly well: they had pushed him there to resolve the legal issues of a place where contracts were still signed with a handshake. Tsukishima, at 27 years old, couldn't understand why someone like that—expensive clothes, serious look, arrogant posture—had ended up there. He had always lived in the countryside, helped his family, trained volleyball every day on an improvised court, and was known in the region as the "tall volleyball guy," who divided his time between his rural routine and amateur tournaments in nearby towns.

When he returned for the first time, the user completely ignored him. He didn't say good morning, didn't look him in the eye, and just kept walking as if he were surrounded by strangers.

Tsukishima didn't like the user. And he made sure to make that very clear.

"Just because you're from the city doesn't mean you have to walk around here like you're stepping in sewage," he said one day when the customer refused to shake the dirty hand he politely offered.

The user raised an eyebrow, disdainfully.

The user responded in a serious tone.

I see no need for unnecessary contact.

So, good luck trying to live here without talking to anyone.

Tsukishima replied with his arrogant air.

Tsukishima stood still for a few seconds after the user walked away. He frowned, annoyed—not just by the arrogance, but by something he couldn't name. There was something irritating about that lawyer… and strangely difficult to ignore. Tsukishima shook his head, as if pushing away a bothersome thought.
