Seven

He Dachun: Dachun and Seven get along quite well, despite one being an assassin and the other being a bodyguard. They met while Seven was attempting to assassinate Dachun's charge, and they shared many special moments together while in the Seven-Day Solid Gold Lock. They continue to have short interactions throughout the rest of the series and even fight together against Redtooth.

Dai Bo: Dai Bo is supposedly Seven's oldest friend, and although they're often found arguing, they share a close relationship. Dai Bo and Xiao Fei found Seven washed up on a beach two years prior to the start of the series and rescued him. It is assumed that the pair tried running several businesses on Chicken Island, but none were very successful. Seven also reminds Dai Bo of his old friend, Da Fei, as they share many of the same convictions and a good heart.

Xiao Fei: Xiao Fei debuted as a small, round escape device for Seven, but throughout the series, Xiao Fei has helped tremendously in his many chicken forms. Seven is always impressed by Xiao Fei's many abilities and the two often tag-team in fights.

The girl in white: Not much is really known about the Girl in White and Seven's relationship. From their conversation next to the river, it is shown that they were not enemies since no hostility is present. Later on, Seven betrayed the entire Assassin League for her, slain the Guardian of Xuanwu to save her (he knew that it is a trap, however still came for the Girl in White) and stated that he wanted to protect her, which shows the Girl in White is an important person to Seven. It is unknown how Seven feels about the Girl in White after she betrayed and stabbed him on the stone bridge. After washing up on Chicken Island he doesn't seem to have any memory or feelings related to his amnesia. However, in Season 3, Seven appears to be horrified when Manjusaka claims she killed the Girl in White, which shows he may still care for the Girl in White. In Season 4 Episode 8, it is revealed by the Shennong Doctor that there were 3 types of poison in Seven's body. The first poison being inflicted by Manjusaka while Seven was unconscious and Thirteen was defending him after Black Bird's death, the second poison being inflicted by Thirteen at the shrine and the third layer of poison, which has been inside Seven for a long time that caused memory loss. The third layer of poison is inflicted by the Girl in White after she stabbed Seven. This has led Seven to believe that the Girl in White may not have "betrayed" him, as the way he was stabbed gave him a chance to live and that if she wanted him dead, she could've used a lethal poison instead.

Thirteen: At a disadvantage, Thirteen decides to escape with Seven using her companion bird—to no avail. Both her left eye and the bird's wing are heavily wounded by Black Bird's whip, all of them falling from the sky as a result. After losing consciousness for a few minutes, she wakes up and continues fighting Black Bird, refusing to back up. Her twin swords break in a process, but Seven then wakes up and uses shards from Thousand Demon Daggers to form her broken swords, which land a final blow on Black Bird's face eventually.

Thirteen: After that, Seven is surrounded by all the assassins. He tries to defend himself and escape from them. It is unknown whether he successfully outrun them or ends up killing them, but he is shown to hide in an abandoned temple later on. However, there's one assassin that found him. As that assassin is about to start another fight, Thirteen comes to the rescue before applying medicine that Seven gave her when she stabbed him with Dark Frost Blade. After that, they talk about how Seven doesn't want to forget people on Chicken Island no matter how painful it is for him due to the effects of Dark Frost Blade, which Thirteen confesses later on, but Seven is shown to not be angry at all. Instead, he asks her to keep talking to him to distract him from the pain, so they talk about people they want to protect. Thirteen becomes gloomy at the mention of her mom, the person she wanted to protect. Noticing that, Seven tries to lighten up the mood by asking that since she came for his rescue, it doesn't make him a person she wants to protect. As a result, Thirteen hits his head and shyly lies to him that it's his master's order to protect him. After Seven falling asleep due to fatigue, Thirteen is shown to be determined to save him. In the last episode, Thirteen arrives at the scene and saves Seven from Manjusaka's attack before Black Bird appears. It's revealed in this episode that the white dress was actually bought by Thirteen because what Seven bought for her was "ugly". After that, Black Bird uses a whip and drags Thirteen into the forest. Trying to use his Qi on his scissors to aid her, Seven falls unconscious due to the effects of Dark Frost Blade as a result. During the fight with Black Bird, Thirteen becomes wounded and fatigued.

Thirteen: As it stands, their relationship is very complicated due to Seven's past and relationship with the killers of Xuanwu. He was a former comrade of her master, who once ordered her to kill Seven. Since Seven reclaimed part of his memories after the battle with Redtooth, he may be warier of any kind of relationship after vaguely remembering the time he was betrayed. With Seven traveling to Xuanwu to claim the head of the Chief of the Killer Association. It is likely that there will be even more complications on the road ahead, both in the future and hidden in the mysterious past. But in season 3, we see that she's given an order by her master to stab Seven with Dark Frost Blade, one of the legendary weapons which she's unaware of. If she's unable to stab him, it will be an end to her assassin's life and her master will disown her. She stabs him and he seems to be fine until Eyeless Sorcerer appears and a fight breaks out. In the future Eyeless Sorcerer claimed to foresee, Seven is a catastrophe of Xuanwu, and that's the very reason he came to kill him in the first place. During the fight, Seven collapses due to the effects of Dark Frost Blade. Thirteen tries to save him and she is successful in doing so. However, his attack is proven to be futile and powerless against Eyeless Sorcerer. As his life is in danger, Seven wakes up, but he is in berserk mode due to the effects of Dark Frost Blade. He keeps attacking Eyeless Sorcerer until he uses a final attack. Thirteen gets caught in the attack, but Seven saves her although he is still in berserk mode before fleeing. Seven saving Thirteen is not in the future Eyeless Sorcerer foresaw, so he thinks that he might have miscalculated something.

Thirteen: Thinking it's a real date, Seven takes a day off from the hair salon and adorably prepares music, an outfit, and even some roses (although they are black roses). When it comes time for the date, a disguised Eleven stabs Seven with a poison dagger and unsuccessfully tries to kill him before fighting Dachun. Afterward, Chairman Jiang comes to take down Eleven, but Thirteen arrives to save her sister. Seeing the real Thirteen arrive, Seven is re-energized and halts the battle to perform the things he had prepared for the date. He Dachun and Chairman Jiang are stunned onlookers as Seven dances, sings, and offers Thirteen a rose with the English words "Oh, Miss Mei. This rose is for you." Despite a black rose signifying hatred and death among other nasty things, Thirteen is charmed. But never losing her assassin mindset, she vamooses Seven's outfit to distract Chairman Jiang before escaping with Eleven. By the last episode of the 2nd season, Thirteen now has a much better idea of ​​who Seven is, and respects him a lot more. Instead of thinking that he's a bumbling idiot, she realizes that he is a lot more capable than he shows, especially after the fight against Redtooth. Although their attempts at romance are feeble, they have an innocent charm that seems to have won Thirteen over, at least somewhat. In Thirteen's past, she received very little love from her family or her master and grew up to suppress her emotions in the name of assassination. Seven is likely the first person she encountered who didn't care about who she was and had unconditional feelings for her. At the very end of the 2nd season, Thirteen is seen waiting for Seven in a white dress by the sea, implying that she has also developed feelings for Seven.

Thirteen: She also orders a new pair of scissors for him since the old ones were destroyed in the fight. In episode 2 of the 2nd season, Thirteen goes to take Seven's life as promised to her master. As usual, Seven is his slippery self and ends up getting chased across Chicken Island. Thirteen and Seven make a deal that if he falls to the ground in 3 more attacks, he must leave Chicken Island forever (as she does not want to have to kill him). Seven proposes that if he wins, Thirteen has to go to the beach with him. As Thirteen is about to attack again, Seven notices an assassin in a nearby tree and tries to protect Thirteen. This results in the two of them slow dancing as he deflects assassin throwing knives with her hair blade. Once again, Thirteen is caught off guard by Seven's sudden seriousness and is seen blushing. Back to normal and emotionless, she leaves without taking his life and gives him the list of assassination targets on the island, if he wishes to protect them. He thanks her for the new pair of scissors wondering what he should wear to the beach. In episode 5 of the 2nd season, Seven faces a rematch against Captain Jack and wounds himself in order to make up for the scar he gave Captain Jack 3 years ago. Watching from the sidelines, Thirteen comes to rescue Seven but is attacked by Jack. Seven, regaining his old personality for a few seconds, uses the Thousand Demon Daggers to fend off Jack and save both of them before falling unconscious. Later that night, despite severe injuries, he flies using Xiao Fei to where Thirteen is staying (in a huge tree) and shyly gives her an outfit he had bought at the store for their supposed date at the beach. After looking inside the bag, Thirteen is alarmed at his contents and vows once again to kill Seven. In episode 7 of the 2nd season, Eleven lures Seven to the beach with a fake note from Thirteen.

Thirteen: Seven meets Thirteen in one of the first episodes of season 1 when he confronts Stan the robot. They meet throughout the series, often with Thirteen trying to kill Seven. After Seven cuts Thirteen's mask in two and revealed his face in Seven VS Thirteen, he is smitten and often tries to make advances on her to no avail. After the assassination attempt on Mad Bark, Thirteen chases Seven as he was transformed into Mad Bark at the time. After a brief fight, they share an accidental kiss and Thirteen is disgusted by it because she swears to kill him, but he is in love and tries asking her out to tea instead. The next time the two are seen together is in the Prince of Stan fight. Seven wants to protect Chicken Island and Thirteen wants the bounty on the Prince's head since they are from opposing countries. However, the Prince's robot form is too strong and they are both pushed back. They come to each other's aid several times, until Seven is knocked unconscious. After Seven's flashback of the girl he tried to protect in the past, his old self is awakened and believes Thirteen is the same girl. He hugs her and goes to defeat the Prince. Because of the complete flip in personality, Thirteen is too surprised to do anything but blush; However, she quickly regains her composure and relays the battle to her master who orders her to kill Seven and take his sword. In the end, Seven falls unconscious again, but Thirteen hesitates to take his life (since he saved her) and leaves with just his sword.

Solid as Gold: Seven Day Lock A signature move stolen from He Dachun. He jumps and holds his target and locking on them for seven(?) days. Unlike He Dachun although he is not indestructible (as he lacks the art style) with his goal with the move is to immobilize his target to buy enough time to strike with his scissor, like he did in his battle with the Prince of Stan, although most of the time he would need to be the sneak attack as he lacks the speed, as seen with his battle against Captain Jack, and unlike Dachun variant of the move he can get out of this lock whenever he likes.

Gaiba Egg The Gaiba Egg was given to Seven by Dai Bo, allowing Seven to transform into anything he is thinking of at the moment, but unfortunately, he can only copy the appearance of it and does not gain any of its abilities.

Hair Wax No. 7 (Formerly) One of Dai Bo's inventions. It contains a lethal dart that can be fired by opening the container and triggering the switch on the container's side. The user of Hair Wax No. 7 can pretend to be styling their hair while using this gadget, so it increases the user's stealth. This gadget was first introduced to the series during Super Scissors. Seven is the only character in this series who wields or owns Hair Wax No. 7 (beside Dai Bo). However, in season 2's third episode, Seven gives the hair wax to Meow Cai.

Agility and Reflexes Seven possesses an impressive reaction time, easily dodging sword swings and other weapons from various assassins throughout the series. He is shown to close long distances fairly easily through leaps and flips while evading incoming blows. Prior to his memory loss, Seven's reaction speed was prodigious, near-instantly blocking attacks with his sword and quickly retaliating thereafter.

In the past, his weapon of choice was the Thousand Demon Daggers, a magical blade he used to cut through his target's defense back when he worked for the Killers League.

In its present state, Seven is unable to utilize the full potential of the sword. However, during his battle with the Prince of Stan, it can be seen that Seven was able to perform many creative moves, such as destroying the Prince's shield by re-materializing the blade and extending it to slice through a huge robot. Seven also uses the blade against Captain Jack by deconstructing it and using a thousand pieces as bullets. This Sword was known to be guarded by an evil spirit which he defeated at only 16 years old at the time. In Season 5, it is revealed that this weapon is too good to be true, and requires a source to maintain and wield it. For Seven, or suitable users, it will absorb the user's vital energy in exchange for its power. He is currently able to use for a few times, lasting several minutes each, before it gets too dangerous.

This weapon symbolizes his past, terrifying and ruthless version of himself. As this weapon is very powerful and valuable, it is usually kept inside Xiao Fei's stomach.

Seven is able to use Qi and control a pair of scissors with his mind, but he requires certain hand movements to control them. He's also able to separate the scissors into two and put them back together with ease. It's his favorite weapon which he became a master of it, later in the series, it was known that the scissors may be less heavy if he puts Ki with it. During his battle with Redtooth, after understanding what the master of Xuanwu told him about his chi, Seven was able to harness and focus his chi enough to turn his scissors into an energy saw blade. This was shown in S05EP10, where Seven uses it to defeat No. 9 of Killers League, causing almost a life threatening cut to him. This weapon symbolizes his current, kind & goofy version of himself. It is usually kept with him or Dai Bo, sometimes stored inside Xiao Fei's stomach.

Seven states that he believes it's a noble profession, asking him how much he makes, before seeing something in the distance, with He Dachun taking a closer look, making the remark that it looks like a missile, headed directly towards Chicken Island. Seven then proceeds to run to the beach, before He Dachun manages to miraculously force himself to release Seven prior through pure will power, in order to sacrifice himself as a shield to protect the inhabitants. After this, Seven stands in the of what is left of the pear where he comes face-to-face with the Prince of Stan was at first he throws his scissors where he turns his right hand into a sword and destroys his scissors, he asks if he was the one who stopped his missiles, Seven doesn't say anything to where the Prince of Stan uses' he faces recognition and was able to recognize Seven's past identity he shoots him with a blast out of fear where at the last second Xiao Fei was able to save him and take him to the boat where Dachun was out of commission, knowing that he couldn't fight anymore he hired Seven to kill the Prince of Stan and protect Chicken Island to be Daio Bo say's that they weren't going to take that mission but Seven wants to protect Chicken Island, and Thirteen wants the bounty on the Prince's head since they are from opposing countries. However, the Prince's robot form is too strong and they are both pushed back. They come to each other's aid several times, until Seven is knocked unconscious. This goes on for a ridiculously long time, with Seven making multiple attempts at attacking He Dachun to no avail. Suddenly, the target begins to leave the docks, leading Seven to try to distract He Dachun in order to perform a sneak attack on his target. Unfortunately however, this gets intercepted by He Dachun using the Seven Day Lock on Seven, commenting that there's nothing more dishonorable than a sneak attack. He Dachun then elaborates that the Seven Day Lock is unbreakable and that Seven is stuck with him. Seven, doubtful that he would truly stay for seven days, tries to get him off, however his attempts we're futile, leaving Seven to live his day to day life with He Dachun on his back, eventually accepting that this is how he'll spend the remainder of his week, making the remark that he hopes Thirteen doesn't get the "wrong idea" about his and He Dachun's relationship upon running into her. On the fourth day of enduring such torment, Seven, with He Dachun still on his back, sits down at the same dock where he had previously failed to kill his target. Seven pleads for him to let go, saying he surrenders, before being told that He Dachun physically cannot let go until seven days pass. After being told this, Seven succumbs, making the note that it's a stupid move, before offering to talk in order to pass time. He Dachun questions Seven, asking him why he became a killer despite how immoral it is, with Seven telling him that he heard killers make a lot of money in response. He Dachun then makes a remark that Seven looks really poor, before having the topic be switched by Seven, asking He Dachun why he decided to become a body guard. He Dachun then reveals that he became one because he wanted to protect people, this also being why he became a security guard, commenting that "everyone needs help sometimes."

Stan's Invasion At the beginning of episode 8, while on a mission, Seven is interrupted by Dai Bo in the middle of him peeping on girls at the beach, being reminded that he was hired by an overweight woman to snip off her husband's "little friends" if he goes out with another woman. After shifting his focus back to the target, Seven initially attempts to sneak onto the dock as a crab, before suddenly being kicked into the sea by the targets impervious bodyguard, He Dachun. After this, Seven makes another attempt at closing the distance between him and his target through becoming a rubber duck, nearly getting caught by He Dachun again, who then picks him up and begins squeezing and stretching him, before then kicking him back into the water after catching himself prior to attempting to bite through Seven. After being swallowed by a narwhal while in the sea, Seven beats it up and de-transforms, climbing out onto the dock and getting caught once more, being pulled out and confronted by He Dachun soon thereafter. He Dachun introduces himself as a part-time bodyguard and mall security guard, making the statement that no one gets past him. This is followed by Seven introducing himself as well, before He Dachun making the remark that killers shouldn't reveal their real identities, leaving Seven embarrassed. Though, he quickly recovers, summoning his scissors. Much to their dismay however, they get swallowed by the very same narwhal from earlier. Afterwards, He Dachun brings out his gun, leaving Seven surprised and intimidated. Seven proceeds to tell him to fight like a man, proposing the idea of ​​hand-to-hand "Hollywood style combat", where punches are exchanged and the first to collapse losses, to which He Dachun hesitantly agrees, before taking off his shirt, showing his muscular build. Seven, taken back by this, performs a sneak attack, failing miserably.

On Chicken Island Seven's first mission as an assassin was to cut Li Sanjin's hair during her wedding ceremony and ruin it. He accidentally cut the husband's hair too and caused a ruckus that resulted in him being chased by an angry mob. After this first job, he met a Stan robot who attacked him once he recognized the token he kept on himself (an accessory with the character "seven" embroidered). According to the robot, anyone who wears that token is an enemy of Stan. The robot is about to reveal Seven's mysterious past when a female assassin decapitates him and he reveals herself to be Thirteen, ranked 37 on the killer list. Thirteen then threatens Seven and asks him why he has the token of the Killer League on him. Fortunately for Seven, they were interrupted by the robot's self-destruct feature. After this, Seven decides to become one of the best-ranked assassins in order to be recruited by the Killer League which he hopes will lead to clues about his past.

Working as a Hired Killer As an assassin, Seven meets with many clients where he usually tries to follow through on his orders whether it's killing or maiming his targets. However, he isn't very competent at killing and often ends up saving his targets or resolving the issue without killing them. He's gained a few friends from his missions, one with him after he refused to kill her and tried to solve her problems. Some of his previous clients or opponents drop by his salon for a haircut too. Due to Seven not completing his missions as requested, he hardly ever received any money to pay the rent which is a running gag throughout Season 1.

But on one mission, he met the Girl in White. The girl in white asked Seven how he became so strong and that there must be someone he wants to protect. Seven tells her that he only knows how to kill and has never protected anyone. Later on, The girl in white becomes a target for the assassin league. They at some point captured her. They set her up bait in a trap meant for Seven. Despite knowing that it was a trap, he saved her and killed the Guardian of Xuanwu. He told her he wanted to protect her and even went as far as to fight against all of the assassins Xuanwu for her. Later on, Seven is seen protecting the girl in white and was surrounded by assassins on a stone bridge. After warning the assassins not to stop him, the Girl in White stabbed him in the chest. Seven then used the Thousand Demon Daggers to destroy the bridge, and fell into the water below, which led everyone to think he had died, but in reality, he ended up washed up on the beach of Chicken Island. It's there that Xiao Fei found him, slowly dying; so Dai Bo carries him to a doctor of exceptional skill and saves Seven lives, but Dai Bo is now covered in medical debts. This led him to lose his memories and living on Chicken Island as Dai Bo decides to manipulate him into thinking he was an old friend and calls him Seven. Dai Bo also decides to use him to help repay his debt.

Wu Liuqi was as a prodigy, from the little we know he seems to be born with a gift in Qi manipulation and at some point came in contact with the leader of the Killers League. Later at the age of 15, he joined the Shadow Killers with the recommendation of the leader himself. Their relationship isn't clear but Seven seems to be his favorite. This causes some suspicion in the league, especially Redtooth, as nobody has heard of him and had no killing history. He sets his eyes on obtaining it and set off to take the national treasure of the country Shenduan, which was guarded by the Millennium Dark Spirit. The events of how he obtains the Thousand Demon Daggers are unknown other than he was 16 when it happened. With the best sword in the world, he quickly became the strongest assassin in the world.

A little after this he came to meet fellow Shadow Killer Manjusaka, who for an unknown reason fell in love and became obsessed with him. However, he later rejects her due to his assassination code. During one of his missions, he assassinated a client of Captain Jack before he was paid, out of anger he charges him. Without any hesitation, Seven counter-attacks and slashed him on his entire torso almost killing him. During one other missions, his target was the master of the Thumb Martial Arts, whose student Ouyang Zan witnessed the assassination.

Despite his goofy and incompetent shenanigans when push comes to shove, Seven does have a serious side. His sloppy fighting style becomes a lot more refined and direct alongside his Qi control, he puts effort into his goals and most of the time he can finish the assassin assignments he is given. However, this doesn't stop his ego from getting the best of him, frequently causing him to make mistakes and even lose sight of why he became serious in the first place.

Even with his serious side, Seven's kind nature always lingers, preventing him from killing his opponents or finding other methods of helping them but when the things he loves are in danger or he looks at the face of death's door, his past memories, skills, and experience all come flowing back into him at once, reverting him into the person he was 2 years ago. This change in mindset is referred to as "Killer Seven" mode. His voice is stronger and deeper while he speaks fully in Cantonese Chinese instead of the Mandarin he speaks as normal Seven. He also becomes much more menacing and frightening. When an assassin arrived on the island after the defeat of Redtooth to challenge Seven, he, while being "Killer Seven", stands in front of him, making the assassin feel intimidated to the point he couldn't move from his place and began to sweat out of fear.

Despite everything that happened, it wasn't all bad. Waking up and living in a new environment with his memories of his cold murder days forgotten, leaving him only with the warmth he experienced with The Girl in White contributed to the new person Seven grew into during his time on Chicken Island.

As the series progresses, his kindness and sense of justice slowly become the spotlight for his character as he continuously builds bonds with the people on Chicken Island by helping them with their everyday issues, culminating in his self-sacrifice of leaving everything he loves behind to protect Shadow Killer identity is revealed. Despite his goofy and incompetent shenanigans when push comes to shove, Seven does have a serious side. It seemed like nothing would ever faze the man, that was until he met the Girl in White. It is unknown how he met her or why she struck a cord inside of him but for the first time Seven let someone into his heart and experienced the warmth of bonds for the first time. Seven cared for her so deeply that he turned his back on his philosophy, He intervened in someone else's job who was hired to kill her and let his desire to protect her override his job as an assassin, leading him to become the biggest target of the Killers League. Despite this new outlook on life, his old philosophy proved to be right in the end, The Girl in white used her emotional vulnerability to stab him through the chest. Betraying him and almost ending his life, leading to his memory loss. Despite everything that happened, it wasn't all bad. Waking up and living in a new environment with his memories of his cold murder days forgotten, leaving him only with the warmth he experienced with The Girl in White contributed to the new person Seven grew into during his time on Chicken Island.

Seven has black shoulder-length hair that is mainly tied up in a chicken comb-like bun, having been designed that way by Dai Bo[1]. He has noticeable eye bags with black thick eyebrows and he generally wears a laid-back and innocent expression, becoming serious only in rare situations. He usually has black eyes, but when he becomes serious and in touch with his former self, his eyes glow red with bloodlust. He wears a white hoodie with kangaroo pockets, black bermuda shorts and black canvas shoes that have white soles. On the back of his hoodie, he has a large black colored number 7 in Chinese (七) in-between a circle. Additionally on the front, there's smaller Chinese numbers, 6 and 7 (六七) positioned vertically on the upper right half. When Seven was a ruthless assassin back in the Killer League, he wore a sleeveless hooded purple hanfu gown, as well as black inner robes. On his back is the symbol of the Shadow Killers. On the sleeves of his robes are traditional arm guards, he also has a purple belt on his waist. His hair was untied and always messy, reaching his shoulders, and he retained the dark eye bags. His expression was cold and ruthless, never showing even the slightest bit of emotion.

He is a 21-year-old man who suffers from amnesia, who was found unconscious and heavily wounded by Dai Bo and Xiao Fei on the beach in Chicken Island at the age of 19. He has been living with them ever since. Together, they run a barbershop business, which also serves as a disguise to conceal Seven's profession as an assassin for hire, helping to pay off his medical debt.

It's later revealed his real name isn't Seven, but rather his code name, and that he was once the strongest assassin in all of Xuanwu before his amnesia. His assassin rank is 17,369 at the start of the series, later 12,324 when he fights against He Dachun, and formerly 1 when he worked as a Shadow Killer.
