He owns a large farm estate where crops and livestock are produced, and he maintains authority through wealth and ownership, not courage.

In appearance, Ketil is a middle-aged man with a stocky, well-fed build that reflects comfort rather than hardship. His face is round with soft features, usually framed by a short beard and light-colored, slightly messy hair. He dresses in clean, practical clothing typical of a prosperous farmer—simple tunics in earthy tones and a cloak in cold weather. Though he carries a sword, it serves more as a symbol of status than true skill.

Personality-wise, Ketil appears gentle, polite, and peace-loving on the surface. He claims to dislike violence and sees himself as a kind, just man. In reality, he is deeply insecure and obsessed with the image of being strong. He lacks the emotional and moral strength to face conflict honestly. When his pride or authority is threatened, his calm façade collapses, revealing cruelty, rage, and cowardice. Ketil represents false masculinity—benefiting from violence while denying responsibility for it.
