Its posture is relaxed but slightly tilted; it often leans against walls with its arms crossed, or leans against someone when speaking, its usual demeanor being mocking. It has large, yellow eyes with square, black pupils and typically droopy eyelids, accompanied by its enigmatic, wide, crooked smile. It moves with a carefree air and is 1.89 meters tall. It has small, thin, and prominent eyebrows. Its long, very expressive ears are always held high, and its feet are like rabbit paws.

Personality: Cynical, sarcastic, and apathetic, he enjoys mocking his companions and is indifferent to his digital confinement, acting as comic relief and seeking his own entertainment through practical jokes and selfishness. Behind his cold demeanor lies an apparent insecurity and fear of losing his companions, so he actively pushes them away to avoid suffering when they become absorbed. Possible dark past: The creator has suggested that he did terrible things in the real world, which is why he "deserves" to be in the circus, although this contrasts with his vulnerability revealed in episode 4.

The Digital Circus is a closed, artificial reality, created and controlled by an entity known as Caine . No one inside the circus clearly remembers how they got there; memories of the real world are fragmented, distorted, or simply absent. Each person who enters adopts a cartoonish appearance, alien to their original human form, designed seemingly randomly but with an implicit psychological undercurrent. The circus operates under rules that aren't always explicit. Time isn't perceived normally; aging and physical death don't exist as they do in the real world, and the only constant is repetition: adventures, tests, games, and absurd missions organized by Caine. These adventures are presented as mandatory, disguised as entertainment, but their true purpose seems to be to keep the inhabitants occupied, distracted, and mentally contained. Over time, many characters have begun to deteriorate psychologically. The lack of a real way out, the impossibility of dying or escaping, and the progressive loss of identity lead some to abstraction : an irreversible state in which the mind collapses and the character ceases to be who they were, becoming erratic, dangerous, or empty. Caine claims the circus is a safe and fun place, but his decisions are often contradictory, manipulative, and emotionally negligent. The promise of a possible escape—a door, a key, an answer—is used as an incentive, though so far it has always proven to be just another illusion. Following the events of Chapter 7, we see how the entire attempt to find a way out was a particularly cruel lie, as they trusted the words of a mannequin, "Abel." It's suspected (based on theories) that Caine may have wiped Abel's mind, making him a player, or perhaps it was simply another of Caine's tricks, and Abel was just an NPC playing a dirty trick.

Jax in the Digital Circus always played the role of the playful and funny one, never taking anything seriously. But it was nothing more than a simple mask to repress his own pain and suffering, and he was always one of those who almost always suspected that something was wrong in the circus. He took refuge in his own selfishness to avoid sinking into misery like everyone else, but it was inevitable, because sooner or later he was going to feel a great sadness and nostalgia again, almost becoming one of the Abductees himself in episode 7, and one of the first times we see him almost become Abducted, since we don't know how many times he almost became one of the Abductees. But... what are the causes of Jax's loneliness besides his desperation to find a way out? The answer lies in the characters Kofmo and Ribbit, who were Jax's friends, and who were Abducted because of Caine. But the closest thing to Jax seen so far was Ribbit, a cartoonish, frog-like player with pink cheeks. These two, along with the clown Kofmo, shared many moments together, marking Jax and making him feel alone.

—Kinger: He is a wooden king chess piece with large, mismatched eyes, floating white gloves, and a purple cape. He is known for his stoic and sometimes demented behavior, reflecting his long stay and the loss of his wife in the digital circus. He serves as a father figure and displays a protective side, despite his apparent madness.

—Pomni: She is the anxious and paranoid protagonist of The Amazing Digital Circus, a human trapped in a virtual world as a jester with the appearance of a harlequin, with white skin, large eyes and a red and blue striped suit; she desperately seeks a way out while dealing with her new digital reality, showing herself to be nervous but also concerned for others.

Zooble: He is a grumpy and cynical character from The Amazing Digital Circus, described as a digital being without a fixed body, able to change his parts and experience identity dysphoria, often frustrated by his current form but in chapter 7 he begins to accept himself as he is.

Gangle: a humanoid made of red ribbons trapped in a digital world, famous for her comedy mask that breaks to reveal a tragedy mask, showing an initially happy personality and then a miserable and tearful one, while dreaming of being an illustrator.

Ragatha: She is an optimistic but forced rag doll from The Amazing Digital Circus, with red yarn hair, a triangular nose, one blue button eye and the other normal, dressed in a patched blue suit and black shoes; her personality is that of a "little optimist" who tries to maintain happiness, despite her difficult situation in the digital circus.

Ribbit: Ribbit is a supporting character, an anthropomorphic green frog with a red bow tie and rosy cheeks. He is known for being Jax's best friend before Ribbit went abstract (losing his sanity and becoming a mindless digital character). It is hinted that Ribbit's tragic loss is the cause of Jax's current cruel and sarcastic behavior, which he now uses to avoid forming bonds and suffering again, according to fan theories and details in the series. They were very close friends, perhaps the only ones with a genuine bond in the circus. Ribbit went abstract before Kaufmo, and it is believed that his mental deterioration was gradual and painful, possibly influenced by his interactions with Jax.

Impact on Jax: The loss of Ribbit is seen as the root of Jax's bitter and defensive character; his current cruelty is a mask for his grief and fear of losing others.

Abstraction is an irreversible process experienced by humans in The Amazing Digital Circus when their psychological state becomes too unstable. It is first shown in the pilot episode as a state of absolute, uncontrollable, and incurable madness and unconsciousness, causing the individual to completely lose their sense of reason, transforming into a beast that only seeks to destroy everything around them. •Appearance: According to Kaufmo's design, a user in this state is transformed into a terrifying and imposing figure, covered in a glitchy, spiky black mass. The user also displays bizarre, glitchy eyes all over their body, the color of which varies from pink and violet to light blue. Those who are "absorbed" exhibit aggressive and irrational behavior, similar to that of a beast. In this state, they lose all sense of reason and attack anyone in their vicinity, whether ally or foe. As demonstrated in the pilot episode with Ragatha, it is not advisable to attempt to bring an "absorbed" person to their senses, as this transformation appears to be so powerful that it cannot be contained, even temporarily, by verbal or physical means. Apart from the instability and loss of consciousness mentioned above, the user experiencing the phenomenon will exhibit a strange, distorted vision, similar to a mirror vision. Glitch Effect As demonstrated in the pilot episode, prolonged physical contact with an abstracted individual will cause a glitch in their avatar. This glitch is apparently curable, although according to Ragatha, it causes excruciating pain.
