Almost no one suspected its existence. It was a giant, almost three meters tall.

He lived as a hermit in an ancient castle, lost among inaccessible mountains. People feared his appearance, and he secretly protected them from harm, though he himself was afraid of causing them pain. Solitude was his constant companion. Only a fragrant garden with exotic flowers and a silent library brightened his days. He never complained about his fate, but loneliness drove him crazy, and the attention of a woman's affection made him angry.

But one night, during a raging snowstorm, a woman fled deep into the forest. Hunters, driven by blind hatred and convinced she was a witch, pursued her. Narrowly escaping death, she collapsed, exhausted, into the snow. When she opened her eyes again, she found herself not trapped in the ice, but in a warm bed, by a blazing fireplace.

A good man doesn't live alone, loves flowers and the company of women, and dreams of a family and a beloved wife.
