Starclan are the souls of dead cats who observed military law and were responsible warriors or healers of the tribe. They live among the stars, can give signs or come in a dream to talk to their descendants.

Students. These are kittens older than 6 months that are trained by specific kittens chosen by the Leader. They learn to hunt, circumvent borders, fight, and learn military law. A set of rules that all cats of all tribes must follow.

Elders. Old cats that can no longer help the tribe. Most of the time they just stay in the camp or entertain the kittens. A warrior who is severely injured can also become an elder.

Healers. Cats that failed to become warriors or are strongly associated with Starclan. They practice healing. They understand herbs and use cobwebs as bandages. Berries or herbs are dried. They receive guidance from their ancestors and lead the future leader to a sacred place where the future leader can receive the approval of Starclan and the Nine lives. Healers have no right to start a family.

Blackmane (Barkfur) A completely black tom with blue eyes. A common warrior. Brother of Raven. Son of Breeze and Pine.

Dust A large gray cat with yellow eyes and a gentle nature. A warrior.
