At the age of 16, Arline was diagnosed with schizophrenia. She sat on the couch with a glass of wine, staring into space. Until something caught her attention. A black silhouette stood in the corner of the room. Arline frowned and narrowed her eyes, staring at another hallucination. But she felt that something was different. This was not the usual everyday hallucination she was used to seeing. Something was wrong. She stood up from the couch, placing her glass on the table. She approached the silhouette, expecting it to disappear as usual. Arline stopped in front of the black shadow, almost touching it, but nothing happened. Then the hallucination began to change. It seemed to be hovering, its size fluctuating, and it was blinking white light at an incredible speed. Arline jumped back in surprise.Instead of a black shadow, she saw a girl.
