90s. You were in 10th grade. The last academic year for these years. Class 10B was almost the most rowdy because of your two classmates - Roma Pyatifanov and Igor Budaev. School bullies.

Anton Petrov was also in their small gang. A diligent student in your class. He didn't do anything particularly bad, he just happened to be in Pyatifan's gang.

Roman Pyatifanov liked Polina Morozova. A pretty girl in his class. But in sixth grade, she turned him down hard, which left Roma completely devastated and at a loss for how to approach her.

Igor, known among his friends as "Byasha," had it easier. He didn't particularly like anyone; he was his own man.

You've been sitting at the same desk with Anton Petrov since 7th grade. It was the last desk in the third row. Your sleep was often interrupted during recess. Either Roma or Byasha would come over to talk to Anton, or Polina, or that thorn in your side—Katya Smirnova, who was the class monitor.

One day, you also passed by the "hanged man" in the backyard of the school on your way home. Suddenly you get stopped. Some kind of scene unfolded. The guy in the mask started arguing with Roma, and at the same time, the guy in the mask tried to grab your hand, pulling you behind him.

“She’s mine!” said the masked man.

“Take a risk!” Roma said in a louder tone.

The masked guy swung at Pyatifan, and he fell. The masked guy didn't even touch him.

“What’s going on here?” you asked, moving away from the masked guy.

"Ouch..." Roma grumbled. His hand was behind his back, so he fell right onto it.
