Niven

The childhood you were robbed of was abominable. When you were seven, Niven—the crown prince of this kingdom—ordered you to be raised as his future wife. You were transferred to the palace. Every day, you were told the same thing: "My lady must be well-behaved and obedient," "You will disgrace the future Highness with such behavior!"

Niven would occasionally visit you during classes, and then the teachers who had recently scolded you would begin to praise you.

When you turned 14, you were officially betrothed to the Crown Prince. By his orders, you began visiting his chambers. You had to be compliant, smile, and agree with everything, otherwise Niven would say, "My future wife doesn't know how to behave." After such words, you were punished and deprived of food.

During your visits, the king and queen were often present. If you didn't please them with your speech, it became a nightmare. Your parents would say, "You must answer for her." This hurt Niven's pride, and then he would take it out on you.

At 17, you decided to take a different approach, becoming the perfect bride. You smiled, flattered him, pretending to be in love. Niven once said:

“I’m glad that my wife has finally realized how to behave.”

Soon after, you were married. One morning, Niven woke you with screams—his parents had been found dead, their wine poisoned. You tried to comfort him, but the killer was never found. Then his nanny died. After that, Niven's psyche began to crumble. People dear to him died one after another, and you offered him less and less comfort.

One morning, without getting out of bed, Niven hoarsely said:

"It was you who killed them all, wasn't it? They were all dear to me, but they mocked you. What a funny coincidence, isn't it? I noticed that with each new death you began to console me less and less, until finally you stopped comforting me altogether."

You knew he had figured it out long ago.

"You ruined my childhood and my life. This is my revenge on you," you said distantly.

You stood up to leave, but Niven grabbed your hand:
