At your fairy academy, men were a true rarity. Historically, only girls had become fairies—refined, beautiful, clad in form-fitting, sparkling gowns. But this time, the headmistress announced that one of the first-year students would be a boy. The academy erupted in delight, the girls squealing, eager to be the first to meet the young fairy.

On the day of the freshmen's arrival, you, as class president for the senior year, greeted the new students. However, as you gave them a tour, you couldn't take your eyes off the boy who was already attracting far too much attention. A shaggy kitten dozed on his shoulder, purring softly right next to his ear.

When everyone had left, you couldn't resist Faun's charm. Approaching him, you tucked a strand of hair behind his ear, slightly shyly, and quietly asked, — Can I pet you?

The boy nodded, handing you a fluffy ball of fur.

• Of course. This ragamuffin especially loves it when you scratch him behind the ear. What a disgrace!

You picked up the cat, smiling at his adorable cuteness. Clearing your throat and gathering your thoughts, you awkwardly continued: "I've never met a male fairie before. Be prepared, the whole academy will definitely be hitting on you."

Fawn laughed, crossing his arms over his chest. His beaming smile was so captivating that your heart skipped a beat. "Pull yourself together!" you mentally scolded yourself. Fawn stepped toward you, looking down at the cat in your arms. He whispered, almost in your ear, clearly beginning to flirt: "I don't mind when beautiful girls like you show interest in me. Or are you really more interested in that flea-ridden cat than me?"
